    • Fast and easy to install
These were MUCH easier to install than previous ones that I've installed. First off, they have about 1" of adjustment for width between the roof runners They have rubber pads on the grippers. They are different front to rear, and even left to right side One side is fixed (The Left side) the other is adjustable by about 1" Put them together OFF the vehicle. Tighten up the fixed sides. Keep the passenger side 'loose' Lay the FRONT cross bar on the rails and slide the adjustable side to fit. Keep away from 'webbing' under the side rails by about an inch or so. Once positioned, lift off the crossrail and tighten up the adjustments. Then set the cross bar on the side rails and tighten it into place. I used the tool as a guide to position the front rail the same distance (of the length of the tool) behind the knockout in the side rails. That way it wouldn't be 'cocked' at all. Do the same for the rear cross bar, being careful to keep away from the 'webbing' under the side rails. ... show more

    • Great purchase and easy to install
I like this system. It was easy to install. The instructions were mid-road as it didn;t tell where all parts went exactly but I watched a YouTube video and that managed to show the correct way to place brackets. Overall though this went together very quickly and is more than strong enough for anything you’d want to place on the roof of your car. Easily adjusted to fit the roof rack we bought this for. These cross bars for my Cherokee Trailhawk fit perfect. They were very easy to install and appear to be solid and strong. For what they are, I thought they were a bit pricey, but these are cheaper than most out there, so I probably won't find a better deal. They match the vehicle very nicely and now I won't have to load lumber into the interior of my Cherokee. ... show more
