A huge benefit of these hearing aids is that they are very discrete. When you put them on, the beige part hides nicely behind your ears. It's not too noticeable. I got this for my grandpa who is old and has been having a hard time hearing me whenever I talk to him. I used to have raise my voice at lot more than normal talking levels (almost yelling) in order for him to hear me. Ever since using this hearing aid, I have noticed an improvement in his hearing abilities. What's great about these hearing aids is that they come with a convenient wireless charging case that's very easy to use. When fully charged, these hearing aids last quite a while and it actually charges surprisingly fast for the amount of time it lasts. When I inserted these, household members could not see them when we were face to face and they were also pretty much invisible when they looked at my ear from the side. They are listed as having considerable battery life; 28 hours plus the case can recharge for usage time of and additional 140 hours, all on an approximate 2-hour charge. Each aid has 3 controls: a toggle switch to power on / off, a push button to switch between modes (normal, indoor, and outdoor), and a volume dial. The first 2 were easy to operate, but the volume dial was a real challenge. In using any of the controls I had to make sure to hold the hearing aid in place otherwise the ear pad pops out of position. The one mode setting that did show real improvement was mode 2 (indoor - “tuned for clarity in quieter, indoor settings”); it was excellent for watching TV. I did not have much luck with the modes and believe quite a bit of experimentation will be needed to pick the proper mode for the situation however, having the 3 modes is a real plus to me. The last nit I have with too many hearing aids / amplifiers is that I believe they should now all include Bluetooth for handling calls and listening to music. I am giving these the benefit of the doubt that I will be able to more fully utilize the modes successfully and will hopefully get better with the volume dials; to me at present they are in the high 3-star rating area rounded to 4 stars. ... show more

Not sure, little on the loud side even on its lowest volume, Bit bigger than expected, but the lead to place inside ear is more invisible which is good. The dome selection is limited.Dome is not very sturdy, needs a little more thickness. Buttons are easy to control. rechargable case is great. I m still trying to decide. ... show more

Initially I like to state my typical clarification and cautionary note that I assign to all Hearing Amplifiers that I review as an Amazon Vine Reviewer and it goes as follows: Practically all of the Hearing Amplifier sellers on Amazon list somewhere in the description that they are selling Hearing Aids and in the very basic sense of the word they do aid in someone's hearing but they are definitely not true hearing aids. To me these should always be listed as Hearing Amplifiers only and whatever hearing amplifiers you decide to purchase they are not true hearing aids but what most would consider as PSAP's (Personal Sound Amplification Products). These hearing amplifiers are sufficient for helping the elderly or hearing impaired with mild to somewhere below moderate hearing loss. True hearing aids amplify only certain frequencies based on your hearing profile or what's normally called an Audiogram where over the years you begin lacking the ability to hear certain sounds due to one reason or another, but PSAPs amplify all sounds equally so if you use these aids to assist you with your hearing loss just be sure to start your volume level at the lowest level possible that offers a benefit to your hearing because if you crank them up too loud it may sound good at first but you may, over time, lose what good hearing you have left.. Now for my Likes and Dislikes of these Clarity Rechargeable Hearing Amplifiers For Adults. To be honest I don't really have any major dislikes that I can assign to these amplifiers, if you can accept these as being entry level hearing amplifiers and thus they don't offer exceptional sound reproduction or any awesome features like being able to control them with an App or being able to stream voice and music using Blue Tooth technology but what they do have is a set of simplistic controls on each device such as the On/Off switch, a button for their 3 Program (Noise Reduction) Modes and a wheel adjustment for their Volume Control. Nothing high tech compared to today's top of the line hearing amplifiers but they do provide good basic hearing for a very reasonable cost and for someone that has suffered for a while from mild to moderate hearing loss and doesn't have the money to spend on an expensive set of hearing amplifiers loaded with high tech features then this maybe just the set of hearing amplifiers to help you get back to the world of the hearing so you're not having to miss out on the full conversations with your family and friends or not being able to hear all of the words from your favorite TV programs. I like that these amplifiers also offer up to 28 hours of usage on a full charge, although I tend to place mine back into their charging case at the end of my day prior to bedtime so I can't attest to the full 28 hours but I generally have used these for approximately 14 hours per day without any issues. The key to keeping any hearing device in top shape is to keep your ear canals clear of a wax build-up and limit the moisture (sweat or otherwise) exposure to a bare minimum. To help you get the best fit they also have included two sets of open silicone ear domes to work with your specific ear canal size. I would also advise you to read and become familiar with their included "Operations Guide" to ensure you get the best fit and sound possible. Just remember to keep the volume at the lowest possible level that still benefits your being able to adequately hear better since if you crank them up too loud you will probably degrade your hearing capacity below what you currently have... Based on the fact of this seller is labeling these hearing devices as Hearing Amplifiers instead of trying to pass them off as true Hearing Aids as I've seen some sellers do with their hearing amplifiers and the fact that he is providing a good basic set of hearing amplifiers at a reasonable price I am giving them an Overall Rating of 5 Stars... Can you find better amplifiers on Amazon, no question about it, but you will be paying more for the additional quality features and for someone on a limited budget wanting to test the waters to see how well hearing amplifiers might work for them this would be a good set to start with... ... show more

This set seems a good starter set, and comes with instructions on how to acclimatize yourself to them. The volume adjustment is a bit tricky to use at first, and I'm still trying to figure out which modes work best for each place I use them. It takes a bit of trial and error I find. I'm not sure i'd class the controls as easy to use. maybe as I'm still learning these, but I find I need to remove them to adjust the volume levels. They dont show much, but I'm very careful with the delicate bits. I dont think it would take much to break them. The do amplify the sound, so it does help with minor hearing problems, and the charging case makes them easy to carry along. ... show more
