  • Works well, has a cool case for long term storage
This rechargeable battery works pretty well and without much issue. I normally use it on my TV remotes and some older technology like my gameboy pocket (old i know). One thing I will note about this is that it actually comes with two battery carrying case! This is awesome because I do not have to just store them all over the place in my battery drawer. Each case can hole up to eight batteries. The case is pretty sturdy and well built so it will not break from the weight of the batteries if you choose to stack these on top of each other. It does come pre-charged but I put all on the charger for at least eight hours as a few of these will be stored for long term emergency use. I did use these with my gameboy pocket for about six to seven hours before I needed to recharge it. It seems to work with any charger but always make sure to check the batteries requirement and what the charger is able to output. The batteries can be damaged if you are using the wrong type of charger. Each charger will charge these batteries different, but I would say the batteries take up to eight hours to charge. I used several different chargers and each one was able to fully charge the batteries over night. For remote controls, these batteries will last for a really long time and it could take a few months before you need to recharge. With the cases they come with, I could keep this well organized and easily accessible in my drawer. Also keeps them from moisture and such. The battery seems pretty sturdy and I have not seen any battery leaking. I do not know if it has its own branded charger but it works well with my energizer charger. The black and yellow look is pretty cool and it does get warm during recharge but nothing alarming. After some use, I do not see any wear and tear of the logo cover. It also seems to be okay with storage for long term. I do not see much energy lost after sometime in storage as it last just about the same amount of time. I would say store it in a room temperature room and no where too cold as it would not be able to hold a charge in too cold of a temperature. Overall this is a good rechargeable battery to have. It is pretty long lasting but I would recommend to discharge them and then recharge up to twelve hours when you receive them as this is the best way to calibrate the batteries. Again any charger seems to work but make sure you keep an eye on them with your charger to make sure there are no leaks or damages caused by the charger. ... show more

  • Better than Eneloop!
I've been using Eneloop batteries for years and love them. I decided to look into other less expensive options and my research lead me to RayHom. They are every bit as powerful, last every bit as long, and recharge every bit as many times. For a fraction of the cost. I've already re-ordered more sizes multiple times and am not looking back! If you use batteries, just buy these ones. Disposable batteries are awful! These are fantastic. ... show more

  • Two Stars For Misleading Consumers -- (good customer service though)
EDIT: While I will not change my review, I did change the rating of this review from two to four stars, as a courtesy to the manufacturer because they took it upon themselves to contact me directly and provide a full refund for my entire purchase due to my dissatisfaction which i greatly appreciated... These batteries may work great for some applications but the units I received failed to perform as expected in an led headlamp. I purchased a bunch of these batteries (40 to be exact) for use in LED headlamps... I went with these as the mfr claimed 1100mAh and I was trying to get a longer useful life per charge than the 850mAh energizers I had been using.... Using the energizers I would get just under 4 hours before I had to replace them.... Once I started using these "RayHoms" I found that that they drain way faster than the energizers as I get just over 2 hours useful charge life..... Since I quickly realized that these RayHom batteries were nowhere near their advertised capacity of 1100mAh, I decided to test the 24 batteries which I had already opened and used...... Before testing, I had used each of the 24 batteries three times...... Using a "Zanflare C4" battery charger which was set to 'normal test' at 500mA I found that 23 batteries have a capacity of 647-761mAh while one showed 849 the first test and 782 on the second test... Most of them however, hovered in the upper 600's to lower 700's....... The results of my testing show that the capacity of these AAA batteries comes out to 60-70% of their advertised rating... The bottom line is that you don't need a tester to discover these RayHom AAA batteries are not of the best quality... (guess I should have sprung for the Eneloop pro as they always seemed to perform as advertised)..... ... show more

  • longevity of battery charge
I bought these batteries to use in a lighted magnifying glass. I do a lot of counted cross stitch projects throughout the year and some charts have very small symbols on them. After cancer treatment I found my eyesight is not as good as it was prior to the treatment so next best thing is getting the glass. Well, since I use it all the time, I was going through batteries like crazy so I bought these. I put one set it and I haven't had to change them yet! I highly recommend these rechargeable batteries! ... show more

  • All 8 charged up and held charge
All 8 batteries arrived not fully charged. I charged them in a smart charger and they held charge well and worked well in a bluetooth mouse and a TV remote control that I use every day and for large portions each day. Its been about 10 days now and everything is still operating great without having to recharge. The batteries arrived in 2ea plastic 4 battery carriers. A very good value when compared to purchasing at a brick and mortar store. ... show more

  • I had a lot of trouble getting these to sit just perfectly on the charger
It's funny a request for a review would come today. I just put the batteries on the charger for the first time. Well, if the past two days count as one time. I have an amazon battery charger and all the amazon batteries I have purchased, including this purchase I now know, have to be so precisely balanced in the charger to complete the connection and charge, that you want to throw them in the trash. I must have rearranged them in the charger, mixed them up, cleaned all the connections with alcohol, and said hocus pocus. Still flashing red. Not charging. When I was on the last try before they hit the trash, I look over and GREEN! The only reason I continue buying them is the planet and the price. ... show more
