I’ll start by saying I was SO upset when this arrived and I laid it out. Like, actually in tears. Am I the drama? 😂 I assumed it was a piece of crap and there was no way that center pile up could ‘inflate’ to normal. When I got home 12 hours later, it was perfectly inflated and ready to sleep on. Thank god cause I was about to stuff it back in the box IMMEDIATELY. Boyfriend talked me off the proverbial ledge. I’d been fatigued and seemingly every pressure point in my body was sore from our two year old mattress that doesn’t cause my boyfriend pain. (Why I only got a twin xl for our regular king) It’s been uncomfortable for 6 plus months for me though. Our mattress is a medium firm 14 inch memory foam. For reference, I’m a 28 year old female working two physical jobs so I’m on my feet walking, moving, cleaning 10+ hours a day. My left hip bothers me occasionally, my neck, my lower back, etc. I’ve also developed some carpal tunnel that makes my arm go numb while I sleep and for a while after I wake up and get moving. There was no chemical smell that I noticed. It gets warm, so if that’s an issue, keep looking for a cooling topper. I keep a fan pointed at my face always, so that’s not an issue for me. Our dog that typically snuggles up to the boyfriend all night even prefers being on this topper now, as I don’t flail around and bother him anymore while trying to stay comfortable. My pain has subsided substantially over the last week or two, as well as the numbness from carpal tunnel. It doesn’t wake me up in the middle of the night which is huge. Much relief with the lower back pain too. I’m so relieved I can’t put it into more words. I definitely recommend this topper. Don’t be discouraged when it arrives looking like this! ... show more

We really like this mattress topper! (We got the 2" thick one.) What makes this topper special is that it's on the firmer side (and very supportive in that way) but still soft enough to accomplish eliminating pressure points. We are on our second one as the first one wore out. Here are some highlights from our experience and tips: - We never could get the straps to hug our mattress corners to keep the topper in place. We do have a pillow top / super deep bed so that could be the reason. - You MUST allow the topper to fully expand for at least 48 hours, as the directions say. Be patient and DO NOT skip this step! (We laid ours out in our garage and parked outside for a couple of nights.) - I did not notice any pronounced foam / chemical odors, yet it was in my garage. - I sleep hot and this topper keeps me perfectly cool. - This topper lasted us 1 year and 6 months. We knew it was worn out because we were getting out of bed with sore backs and the loft of our pillows seemed suddenly wrong. (Note that my husband is 5' 9" and 175 lbs and I am 5' 5" and 160 lbs, so average weight when noting the wear.) I thought it did not last long enough and we talked about getting a Tempur Pedic topper for a lot more $$$...but then I called a local mattress store and learned that this is actually the typical / average lifespan for a foam topper, which I found interesting. I only gave 4 stars because I thought it should at least last 2 years. I still recommend this topper as the quality is good and the price is super reasonable. ... show more

After much research I picked this one for the company who makes it and the plush cover and materials. A review I read somewhere about toppers said anything more than 2” is a waste of money. So I got the 2”, after going to the tempurpedic store and seeing a 3”. This king size topper is perfect. The cover is high quality and after the memory breaks in just a few nights the memory foam is super comfy. I had to let it sit open for two days but it was easy to fold and move into my room once it was ready. If there was a new smell it was not much. I’d highly recommend this brand. ... show more

We have a sofa that converts to a queen size bed for guests. It is comfortable for me, but for our guy guests it is not, so I purchased this and they absolutely love it! It is very comfortable and well worth the money!
