It seems daunting at first, lots of fiddly bits and tokens, but the game really is quite intuitive, and you get the hang of it within the first few rounds of play.     • Very complicated, way to many game pieces, and it take's to long to setup and move the game pieces
For every rule there are several different game pieces. The majority of the game pieces are smaller than half the size of a penny. There are so many game pieces that after taking apart the new game it's even more effort to put all pieces back into the box. I had spent three hours assembling the game pieces and the board game to play game of Nemesis, but by the time I had finished setting up the game nobody I was with wanted to play anymore. It's a fun game to talk about but isn't fun to sit through a long game of play, especially when having to wait on your turn and waiting on the 3rd or 4th player to figure out the rules. What will likely happen when this game is bought is that it might be played 5 or less times within it lifetime, with the majority of it's time on a shelf or open on a table in an empty room. For a the price of this game I can do much better with my time and make much more out of my money. ... show more

The board game is amazing but the way it was delivered was terrible. Box came in damaged and considering how it was packaged with no padding is no surprise. Get the game from another vendor that actually takes time to ship an expensive purchase with care.

I purchased this secondhand as it was labeled used-good. I didn’t realize that “good” meant missing over half the pieces and a damaged box. Not only was the game unplayable, but they didn’t even close it all the way so the game pieces were all over the box it shipped in. Keep in mind the pictures are after we reorganized to see exactly how much we were missing. From missing figurines, to dice, to even the contingency cards that let you know if you won or lost, so much was not included. Safe to say we returned and got a new game. ... show more

    • Fantastic board game for those who love “Alien” franchise
I own both the original Nemesis and this listing Nemesis Lockdown. For over a year, my board game group go back between these two games; they’re so much fun! Nemesis Lockdown is very similar to the original, with a few tweaks. Compared to the original, it has more endgame objective to keep track of. It also has floors on which the power is on or off. Walking around in the dark is very dangerous, you can get a game over pretty quickly. Art, atmosphere, miniatures are absolutely great. $150 is steep, but you get a high quality product with a ton of content. If you can get the game between $100 and $125: go for it!! ... show more
