First of all, let me say that I am a professional Tarot / Lenormand card reader, so I do tend to take divination and its tools quite seriously. And honestly, this deck is no exception. EXCEPT that it is exceptionally fun to use! The back of the box says, "Brace Yourself," and that is very good advice. These cards, with their direct, to-the-point, and utterly no-B.S. approach, are simply great. Lots of fun, lots of laughs, but oh-so-honest answers...sometimes painfully so - LOL! Drawing one card at a time is how I usually use this deck, but I have to say that there is even more insight to be gained by drawing 2 or 3 and reading their messages together. Honestly, for as much fun as this deck is, I'll also have to say that the messages are usually spot-on, and therefore can be really helpful. If you don't mind a little cussing, and if you're able to laugh at yourself and admit that sometimes (perhaps often!) you are full of B.S., and if you want advice that tells it like it really is, BUY THIS DECK! Maybe buy it even if you're overly-serious and straight-laced, because it might just shake you out of your own stuffiness. I love this deck! ... show more

These cards are nice but not as durable and “high quality” as other decks I’ve purchased for much cheaper prices however I do love the content of the cards. It’s nice to have a good laugh while doing a readying. After reading a bunch of angel cards that kindly talks about compassion and heart opening, I get a rebel card that says “you look like a shot show” and I’ve never laughed so loudly in my life 😂 because it’s true haha These cards are like that very honest Bestfriend that tells us the truth when no one else will. ... show more

I have a lot of traditional tarot and oracle decks but this is becoming a new favorite. It is both spot on and fun to use. No pictures to interpret which is a plus and a minus depending on your reading style but it is a handy clarifying deck to have on hand.

So, the box the deck comes in is thinner than a box for a standard 52-card deck of playing cards. In that sense, it's just not durable packaging. However, that's my only real complaint about this deck. It's otherwise a really solid deck. For me, cardstock is never a deal breaker because I see reviews complaining about cardstock on other decks I love and adore and think sometimes people just need something to complain about because for me the cardstock is just fine. I don't need super thick cardstock. That actually makes it harder for me to handle and shuffle cards because when it's too thick, I can barely hold onto the whole deck. Small hands I guess. So anyway, the cardstock is VERY smooth and glossy, such that it's a bit slippery at times. I do prefer that over a deck that's way too matte and won't shuffle for me. It just takes some getting used to - it is probably one of my most slippery decks out of the approximately 70 or so decks in my collection. Now, the things that made this 4 stars instead of 5 are what I already mentioned. I love this deck for its forthright approach and its sass. Not everyone is going to like the crude language, so if you don't like that, this probably isn't the deck for you. If you enjoy playing Cards Against Humanity and letting out your inner raunch, this deck is probably one you'll really enjoy. It is one of those decks I'd seen often and thought about getting, but I didn't get it until I saw one of my close friends going through the deck, so I knew then that it was for me. It also depends how you're using this deck. If it's just for personal use, it's likely a fine choice for someone who doesn't mind the language. If you're also using it in conjunction with your tarot and oracle readings, just be mindful that your client on the receiving end may not share the same humor, so pair it with a bit of compassion and your clients will likely love it as much as mine do. I have also given my clients the choice to have this deck included or not. For example, I might say something like: "Hey, I was drawn to the Rebel Deck for your reading, but if you're averse to harsh language, I will intuitively select another deck for you." I think most people active in the tarot/oracle spaces will be familiar with this deck because it is quite popular, but if they're not it's important to let them know what they're in for. But like I said, I love this deck. It's just going to be one that you really love or really don't with very little in between. ... show more

5 stars. Great deck!!! Love the cheekiness of the deck. Cuts through bs we let ourselves get away with. So, if you're honest with yourself and not in denial the cards can focus you and lead you down a better path. The cards make me laugh and the situations and suggestions ring true. I lvoe this oracle deck. It's a good laugh and has timely reminders. Sometimes I pull a card when the day seems a little tense. The feedback is always spot on and I need to hear it - Laugh, where the F is your sense of humor..., Stop talking, shut your mouth and listen, Eat your vegetables. Very timely reminders.
