  • Very sturdy and a great deal for the price
Style: Universal+Reflector+U-Connector+Tools
Very sturdy and a great deal for the price. The only gripe I have is that the rods that are to connect on the inner-top (closest to your butt) are not universal. The supplied hardware isn't compatible with a Trek MTB/Ebike, but I made it work by just using 1 rod and connecting it to the seat post quick release. It still looks OEM and worked out just fine. ... show more

  • Versatile, easy to install, sturdy cargo rack
Style: Universal+Reflector+U-Connector+Tools
It took 3 tries but this one worked beautifully. My wife's bike didn't have tapped holes in the frame for attachments, nor could I attach to the seat post. That narrowed it right down to this cargo rack. The instructions were well illustrated, plus a good video go-by. There are a lot of moving parts and adjustments to be made, but it came together. The hardware provided was excellent (stainless steel nuts and bolts, aircraft-style locking nuts). I needed to get one additional nut/bolt set ($3) from the hardware store for my particular bike but everything else was provided. This cargo rack is sturdy and will last for years. Third time's the charm. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Flexible, Fit with one caveat
Style: Universal+Reflector+U-Connector+Tools
I’ve had a tough time shopping and finding a rear bike rack for my electric scooter/bike. Because of its flexibility, this rear rack was somewhat difficult to put together. There are so many adjustable pieces that one wonders what needs to be adjusted to level this or that which won’t affect some other this or that. I did manage to get it together and it’s a solid rear bike rack. It looks good as well. I hope the pictures have helped someone to see exactly what it’s supposed to look like after it’s installed. I ran into a problem, unique for my vehicle. The bottom connection, which fits around the frame of the bike, wasn’t large enough for the larger circumference frame that I have. This caused a problem where the screws did not reach through to the other piece where the nut was. I had to run to my local hardware store to find the exact screw, or similar screw actually, to be able to install this bike rack. The transformation from the metric system to SAE here in the states, produced *almost* an exact screw, but it was still too wide to get through the holes provided. It was easy enough to drill out the holes which solved the problem with the longer screws I needed. This could easily have been prevented by the manufacturer just by sending longer screws! Would I buy it again, yes. It would be easy for me to put it together now because I feel like I kinda have a cheat code, since I put this one together already… ... show more

  • Challenging to assemble
Style: Universal+Reflector+U-Connector+Tools
Works like it should and fits great. It was very challenging to put together though with lots of parts and very vague instructions. I am pretty handy with most things but this was a bit of a headache. Once I finally got it together and on the bike it seems to be good.

  • The cons and pros
Style: Universal+Reflector+U-Connector+Tools
The media could not be loaded. The pros. First if you are able to get it all tightened and installed on a bike you will be surprised how sturdy and durable it is. I tried to test my spare ones of this bike rack as I had a total of 3. First one I bought. 2nd one vendor sent me for free. 3rd one I bought. The con about this bike rack is the adjustment is annoying and how weak the bolt extension is. You make the nut too snug it won’t tighten. You make it too lose while adjusting nuts and washers and bolts fall all over. The first two racks got had the arm extension lock removable. The 3rd one I received seems to be welded on now. As this piece is the weak point of the universal bike rack. In all my installs it’s always this side that falls off and when it fails. It drapes down on my rear fender and makes it grind and tears up my rear fender. Other than that install is easy. It’s really just adjustment makes it difficult and the ability to be durable. I don’t trust weight capacity on this vendors cargos. I tested both the universal and disc brake version. The mounts and screws that holds the universal versiom failed me in about 3 days that it broke off. The 5mm screws that holds the legs in are just too tiny. They are 14mm with no washers or lock nuts to hold it in place. ... show more

  • Fits perfectly
Style: Non-Disc Rrake+Cargo Net+Reflector+U-Con...
I installed this on my wife's new ebike. It required a simple assembly which took about 15 minutes and then another 15 minutes to install on the bike. It fit perfectly on the bike, feels very sturdy, and looks great. The picture is with the included cargo net in place. The included large rear reflector was a nice bonus. ... show more

  • sucky instructions. had to get help. And now broken within a month
Style: Universal+Reflector+U-Connector+Tools
the instructions are pretty sucky. and the instruction video doesn't help much all that does it tear your ears off with the most annoying music known to man. putting this thing on my bike made me wish I had 4 arms and hands, half the bolts have to be held with a wench and turned with the allen wrench at the same time. and having some amount of help with holding the rack up makes this 10 times easier. but anyway I cant say much about of sturdy the rack is quite yet as I've just put it on but man was it hellish to put that thing on. This is a month after I've purchased this bike rack its now in the trash as it ended up broken. it had been really tricky to get on and I eventually did but some screws came lose at points and I ended up losing one. I fixed it with some zip ties and tightened all the bolts and stuff and thought it wouldn't happen again. boy was I wrong almost a week after that one of the major components somehow got stripped while using my bike making the rack unstable and then when I was on my way to the bike shop in my area to get it checked out the other bar gave out, and I had to walk my bike the rest of the way as I didn't wanna damage my back tire with the rack that was loosely connected. when I got to the shop I was told that the rack broke because it has to be at least 4in from the bike post and that it was too high up which is not mentioned at any point within the instructions that those need to be the case. anyway I've wasted my money and time so you dont have to, id recommend looking elsewhere for a better rack than I did. ... show more

  • Sturdy Rack
Style: Universal+Reflector+U-Connector+Tools
Good rack for the money. Works well if you want an alternative to using threaded holes by the rear dropouts normally used for rack and fender attachment.
