  • Great toy
Color: Blue Product Packaging: Frustration-Free Packaging
I got this for my son's birthday and he LOVES it. He's really hard on it and it's still working great. It's not made cheap or it would have been broken by now as many times as he's slammed it into things. My son is 12 and just over 100 pounds so it's really durable.

  • My son loves it.
Color: Blue Product Packaging: Frustration-Free Packaging
I almost broke my tailbone trying it out...and I used to skate. So it was a bit humbling. But get some speed and carve into it and it w9rks. This is sized for a kid and it was for my son and he's already a wiz at it. Not the most efficient way to ride, but it is very fun and you can carve almost like a snowboard, so that's a good time. Just know there is a learning curve, so don't give up on hour one. Even learning to ride a bike takes some time. ... show more

  • Buy it!!
Color: Blue Product Packaging: Frustration-Free Packaging
My 9 year old and 12 year old both LOVE riding their rip stick. It's amazing how quickly they learned to balance and use it. I bought one for Christmas for my oldest and then ended up buying a second one for my youngest son, so they could each have their own. Great product.

  • 21 Years of age and still loving this!
Color: Red Product Packaging: Frustration-Free Packaging
I bought this product primarily because I missed having fun with this as a child. Having ridden both the adult-sized ripstick (ripstick G) and the ripster, my personal preference would be this one as to me it feels more agile and can maneuver around smaller spaces. It does however feel less stable at higher speeds if going downhill. Regardless, I absolutely love it and the color that I chose. This will for sure make getting to and from classes on my university campus much for enjoyable and cut down on some walking time as well. I received the ripster within 2 weeks and it came as advertised without a scratch. Still made durable as I remember them to be. If you're a parent and looking for some type of gift to get for your kid or even teen, or if you're my age and just wanna get this to have some fun at a skate park or ride around your community; I would still go for this. ... show more

  • Let this be your kid's first RipStik
Color: Red Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
My son got this on his 8th B'day. Before I bought this, I had looked at the Caster Board which my son found a little difficult to get on and get going. But as this is bit smaller, I was not sure if this will be too small for him or as this can take significantly lesser weight as compared to caster board, for how long he will actually be able to use it. Once this arrived, all my doubts were cleared. This my son found very easy to get on and in just about 3-4 hours of practice could do most of the things. In fact, this not just he, but also older kids who had the caster board, found to much more maneuverable and easy to control. He is using it for about a month now and the quality of RipStik is excellent. Absolutely no issues on any front. Now my son can do the Caster Board, Wave board, but he keeps coming back to his RipStik as he finds it to be most comfortable. The only time he does not likes it is when he is racing with his friends where the bigger Caster Board is an obvious winner. But otherwise, he loves moving on it and even inside the house, going from room to room.He practically uses it to go everywhere where he can/could go walking. And I think the compact size does helps. A great great product of extremely superior quality. ... show more

  • Ripster far better for pre-teens
Color: Red Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I had been looking for a ripstick for my son for a while and couldn't find one at a good price in NZ. I decided to research online and discovered the 'Ripster' Ripstick. I ordered 2, one each for my 2 eldest boys aged 7 and 6, and was absolutely amazed with firstly, the fantastic service with Amazon. The prices were much cheaper for me than if I'd purchased them in NZ, which I still find strange and the delivery was very quick and well packaged. The Ripsters turned out to be absolutely perfect for the job. My eldest, who was the real Ripstick fanatic and had tried his friend's Ripsticks previously, found the Ripster to be a lot easier to ride on due to it's smaller size. He also said that he could go faster on it and that it was more maneuverable than the full size Ripstick. It's much lighter to pick up also. It seems very well built which is something I had been concerned with, when looking at cheaper options on the market in NZ. Since purchasing this, many of his friends have been keen to find out where they can get them as they seem to be the popular choice for the younger lads. I personally think the standard Ripstick's tend to suit the older age range, such as 10 upwards, but that is just my own opinion. I would recommend buying this Ripster and found Amazon to be very efficient in supplying it to us. ... show more
