  • Horrible quality. Don’t waste your time
Color: Black Size: Twin
Took couple hours to put together due to missing pieces, holes that didn’t line up, & etc. of course the wood ended up cracking and falling apart. In order to get my refund I have to find a new box- because I had to tear it apart to open it. Then, I have to take the ENTIRE thing apart! The quality is worse than any ikea, or other furniture piece I have bought off Amazon. Hopefully we end up with our money back or I’ll be out a lot and money and time over this junk ... show more

  • Don’t waste your money!
Color: Brown Size: Queen (U.S. Standard)
Product pieces were not labeled, entire thing is particleboard . Not to mention it took hours to put together and broke the first time it was folded up. Would rate a zero if I could!

  • Garbage. Read before you buy.
Color: Brown Size: Twin
On the one I bought, the hole spacing was wrong and turning a cam-bolt snapped the panel by pulling it too hard. The materials are very weak. You can get better stuff left by the side of the road for garbage. Amazon refuses to return this. They'll refund your money but you're stuck with the garbage and wil have to dispose of it yourself. That may not be convenient or cheap. ... show more

  • Murphy's Law Bed
Color: White Size: Queen (U.S. Standard)
My husband and I joke that this should be called a Murphy's Law bed because everything that could have gone wrong in trying to put it together did. After tearing it all apart and reassembling it several times, and having new parts shipped to us, we finally got it together. A few of the panels arrived chipped, but customer service, offered to replace those as well. We opted not to get new unchipped panels because we finally got the thing together and working. While there is not a phone to contact anyone (no answer and voicemail was full), a company called Amueblate responds within a few hours via email (during standard business days). Customer service is friendly, professional, can swift to resolve problems. My advice is to make sure that you allow plenty of time to put it together and read the directions very carefully. Even with following the directions, it is flimsy in some parts until the very end. In one of the photos shown, you can see the base of the board that is anchored to the wall bowing outward due to the piston arm. Our biggest struggle was step 18 or 19, when we lowered the bed after putting everything together. Something kept popping and caused the piston arm to let go of the knob. With the new parts that they had sent, everything worked well after that. Just allow yourself several hours and follow the directions very carefully. Overall, building it was difficult for us and I have put tons of different IKEA furniture together before. However, now that it is done, it looks very nice and is a huge space saver for when we do not have company over. I am now looking for cute throw pillows to place on the shelf. Update: After one weekend of use, the bottom of the bed beneath the mattress is already pulling away from th besides. We are going to try and reinforce it with screws on either side of the cam locks to see if that helps hold it together. Disappointed. ... show more

  • Take your time with the install.
Color: Brown Size: Queen (U.S. Standard)
For the money it’s priced well. You have to really take your time to install it. There is a helpful installation video QR code right on the box.

  • Flimsy materials
Color: Black Size: Queen (U.S. Standard)
This bed was not worth the price I paid. The materials used are cheap (Particle board) and the instructions/steps could have been better written. Steps that should have come prior came later. It’s quite heavy and hard to pull down the anchors the company included for the wall pulled out the first time we pulled down the bed. It’s been a nightmare. ... show more

  • Beware
Color: Brown Size: Twin
Cheaply made, poor instructions. No support when twin bed is open. Base which holds the mattress Already broke when on bed. Need to make our own support to put under the bed when it is open. I would not purchase this bed. If it was easy to return I would, but we need the extra bed now. Not happy with the overall product. ... show more

  • Everything is crooked.
Color: Grey Size: Queen (U.S. Standard)
Setting up the bed, holes seemed to be off on a few pieces. Swapped top to bottom vise versa pieces, did the best we could to make the pieces fit. It was a little bit off. Probably explaining it out of order here but we followed the directions to a T as it boldly states. Pieces were bowing, not everything was flush. Put the gas hinges on. The bottoms were bowing out. It took two of us to pull the bed down. Attached it to the wall, I don’t know if our studs are off but one side was in the studs and the other we used dry wall screws. The first time pulling the bed down after it was attached to the wall, it ripped out of the wall. We had one hand on the frame and the other hand pulling the bed down, still just ripped out of the wall. Everything was leaving, angling, bowing, crooked. After it ripped out of the wall we said to heck with it and decided to return. Maybe we got a lemon, hope others find success. (Photos taken during break down process) ... show more
