I was actually worried when I bought this. The last time I spent money on tech like this was supposed to be the last time. But I read reviews and these were what I had wanted for a while. After reading reviews of other major brands of AR glasses, the $3k pair of goggles is just ridiculous and I don’t see people wearing that out and about. The other maker similar to these there were too many complaints of burry edges and terrible sound quality. I wear glasses and even without using the insert to get prescription lenses made, I can see the image. I like that in bright enough daylight I can still make out people approaching me. The sound quality, while still lower than I like is actually pretty good. It isn’t able to get loud enough to blow my eardrums out or anyone else nearby, but it still is loud enough to hear in a reasonably busy bus, plane, train, or patio chair. I have the iPhone 16 Pro Max and it plugs, out of the box, directly in via the supplied USB-C cable. With the app connectivity you can use these to watch the Spatial video your iPhone shoots, the same as the $3k can view, and it looks amazing. Immersive and clear video. I watched Deadpool 3 on them and the weight they add feels negligible. I kinda wish they had built in cameras as this brands other version of glasses has, for the price it seems like they should do that, but they are still great looking and sturdy. The size isn’t too restrictive either. I’ve seen plenty of people who wear those silly fake oversized 70’s and 80’s style plastic frame eyewear just for the look, not functionality. They also come with a rigid case and cleaning cloth. I think this is a good investment to fully realize the potential of the iPhone spatial camera without dropping $3k for their device. ... show more

I was thrilled when I first heard about the NXTWEAR S Super Early Bird on Kickstarter back in September 2022 and immediately got my hands on the first generation (now named RayNeo). Now, I’m even more excited to own the updated RayNeo Air 2s, and I have to say, these glasses have exceeded my expectations with all the improvements. First off, the RayNeo Air 2s are much lighter, making them more comfortable for extended use. I can easily see myself wearing these for longer periods without any discomfort. Second, the adjustable design is a game-changer. The RayNeo Air 2s offer a 9-point custom fit, allowing me to tweak various parts of the glasses for a perfect fit on my face. Straight out of the box, they didn’t fit quite right, but with a few adjustments to the nose piece and temple, they now fit perfectly. Plus, the flexibility of the glasses ensures they don’t put pressure on my head, adding to the overall comfort. Finally, the image quality is impressive. The display is clear, and adjusting the brightness level is a breeze. These glasses are a must-have for frequent travelers—they’re incredibly handy on long flights.     • Works well with my iPhone 16 and the Pocket TV
Picture quality is very good, but a bit blurry at the edges on the sides. Not an issue for me watching video, could be an issue if using as a computer monitor. I am able to use my standard eye glasses and didn't need to get the custom lenses. The standard USB-C cable plugs directly into my iPhone 16 Pro Max and the phone's video appears in the glasses. The sound is very good, but needs to be a bit louder for airplane use. The Pocket TV also works very well and gives about 2.5 hours of battery life. The Pocket TV is a standard Android TV box, so you can install apps and run VPNs on it. ... show more

Ive been using these glasses for more than a week now. This new release Air 2s from Rayneo just blows the competition away. I have no complaints at all... In fact only praises. The OLED screen is so bright and vibrant and at 120hz the image is silky smooth. It trully feels like looking at a 200 inch screen. Edge to edge clarity is super sharp now. In addition, the Immersive sound coming from 4 speaker design is a dramatic improvement. I've used it for work on the laptop, gaming on steam deck, watching movies on Flip 6 and iphone 15 pro... it all works flawlessly. The new frame legs are very flexible and nose bridge is soft. Along with the tilt adjustment it really enabled me to get the perfect snug comfortable fit. I could wear these for hours at a time. They are so light weight that there is no neck strain and minimal nose pressure. If you are in the market for AR glasses I definitely recommend these to be the best ones to purchase. ... show more

    • Impressive clarity and comfort
I was initially skeptical about blowing up a 1080p display to fill most of your visual field but it's surprisingly clear and you don't see the pixels at all. No screen door effect! They're also light and comfortable and can be worn for extended periods. Just plug it into your phone and suddenly you have a big-screen TV right there in front of you! They easily replace a much-more-expensive television at a fraction of the cost, and they are super portable. The one star deduction is for the fact that they don't support high IPD (they don't look very good if your eyes are unusually far apart). I can still tell how cool they would be by pushing one lense into the right orientation over one eye at a time and my wife tried it and says they look great for her. She even might prefer them over the more-expensive XREAL One AR Glasses. They also have excellent customer service and truly care about customer feedback. My initial review was a little less kind and they actually reached out to tell me about their R&D and their plans to support wider IPD on their future product, so I will be looking out for that! This is a really cool new product category that is finally coming to maturity, and well worth trying. ... show more
