I had a canakit bundled powersupply go bad after a few years, at some point my raspberry pi was unable to really boot, I flashed a fresh install of Raspberry Pi OS, which allowed me to boot to the desktop, but it would freeze after that. After swapping the power supply for this official Raspberry pi one, not only did it start working, it started working faster than it did before (just a bit more responsive). As an aside, I hope new versions of Raspberry Pi will have actually compliant USB c implementations, the current situation prevents higher end chargers from working with it ... show more

I got this to power my Pi4. I was getting an under voltage error (little lightning bolt flashing in the corner of my screen) and after some research I found that getting the official power adapter would stop this issue, and it did.
