  • Nice, inexpensive lift.
Purchased to replace a failing unit. Installation requires some specialized tools and equipment, but an absolutely doable upgrade for the average shade- tree mechanic. These systems ride stiff when compared to the stock suspension. They are comparable to a "sport" suspension when adjusted to the half-way mark (setting 5). They do provide a nice lift (2-3") at a great price. I put 305/55-R20's (equivalent to roughly a 33.12x 12.01)under the truck with no rubbing. ... show more

  • Looks Great, Rides Great, Easy Installation
Installs easily because it is the same length as the stock shock. Raised the front of my 2013 Ford F-150 XLT Crew Cab 4x4 to exactly match the height of the rear wheel well. I love the ride, and the look. It took me one hour per side to install with air tools. One thing I would have done differently - I would have marked the height of my headlight beams on my garage door before I started, so I could have adjusted them more easily when I was done with the lift. My headlight beams were in the bottoms of the trees! ... show more

  • Great Strut!
New struts look and ride well. Old ones were VERY difficult to remove from my 2013 F-150 4X4. Ride is now leveled and rides like a new truck!

  • looks Great on my 2013 f150
Truck looks great leveled out, rides a tad rougher but I think I just need to figure out the right setting. Install took about 3hrs total with no power tools

  • Good name, poor ride
The ride that I received on my 2013 F150 King Ranch is awful. Too much bouncing on the highway. OEM or Monroe is way better.

  • Good budget options but certainly some corners cut
This certainly isn't the worst lift/leveling kit you could get but does leave a lot to be desired. My main complaint at the beginning was within a week It was rusting in several spots as of now (about a year and 1/2 later) the rust is definitely still there but hasn't spread as horribly as it initially looked like it would The other complaint is they achieve the lift by putting a much stiffer spring on the truck so unless you have a winch and heavy duty bumper up front, your front suspension has zero sag....that means any time your suspension wants to extend it can't and instead your tires hop off the ground As long as your aware of these things and are fine than these are a good option and I would recommend them to those that care more about the height and not about the ride quality or off/on road performance ... show more

  • Great Shocks!
The ride is much improved over stock and the same can be said about the vehicles handling. My truck is almost level with these shocks. The front sits just a hair lower than the rear. I highly recommend this upgrade.

  • 1 inch lift, fantastic ride!
I installed these on my 2013 F-150 XLT 4x4 Ecoboost. The stock rake on my truck as well as on pretty much all of these no matter what equipment level is 2 inches lower in the front than in the back measured from the ground to the top of the wheel well at its highest point. I had these installed by my Ford dealer who is great and because of the sensitive EPAS steering system. You can really screw this one up if you don't unhook the electrical connectors per factory directions! Plus the bottom bolt sometimes is a huge PITA to get loose it's so tight. Anyway, the installed struts lifted the front by exactly 1 inch so now I still have a slight hardly visible rake of 1 inch. THis is not bad because I do periodically pull a 6500 lbs. boat trailer and I don't want the back lower than the front. If you wanted a little more leveling, summit racing sells high quality aluminum 1/2 leveling spacers on eBay that can be fitted on top of the shocks and that DON'T require longer top bolts since the stock ones allow this 1/4 think space to be mounted and still have enough thread to bolt the shocks into the shock tower. Now for the ride. BOY do these shocks make a huge difference! They ride so much softer it makes the stock shocks seem like they are solid wooden 2x4s I have them currently set on setting 3 and I think I could still go to 4. Alone the ride is completely woth the switch and if you want that additional 1/2 inch lift just get those shims off of eBay. BTW the RS 999935 and RS 999911 struts that are indicated for left and right are 100% identical. There is NO difference between them. I called Rancho because I mixed them up out of the box and there is NO part number on the strut, it's just on the box and they told me that they are identical and that the numbering will eventually be aligned. ... show more
