I purchased this as a gift for my niece to keep in her vehicle in case her battery dies. Now she won’t have to ask anyone for help and can jump her own car w this Ralxer portable car charger. It’s super easy to use. I love that it can also charge a cell phone or other small device that has a USB port. The unit is pretty small and light considering the power it holds. Of course, it won’t start a vehicle w a huge battery like a big truck but will any standard sized vehicle. I haven’t been able to use it yet but I did ensure it would charge my phone after fully charging overnight. Make sure to push the button on the front after plugging in your phone to charge. This is very important or it won’t charge or show that it’s charging. I think many people don’t do this and then think it doesn’t work. READ THE MANUAL, folks! There’s not much to it. Make sure to attach the correct colored cable to the battery in the order they state. As long as it’s fully charged every few months, it’ll be a lifesaver when the day comes that you find yourself w a dead battery. Nowadays, it’s not always so easy or very safe to ask others for help especially if you’re a woman! It’s dangerous because not everyone has the best intentions when they see a woman by herself w car trouble. Best not to find yourself in a vulnerable position. Buy THIS charger! The box comes w the charger, red/black cables that easily attach to the charger, an easy to understand manual and a usb cord to charge it. The only improvement I can suggest is a carrying case though it can always be kept in the re-usable sturdy box. Even a cloth bag would’ve been nice but it’s not a big deal. I actually liked this product so much I purchased another as a gift for my nephew too! I bought the warranty for a few bucks more and have peace of mind the unit will be covered for 4 years. If you’ve a wife, daughter, sister, mother, etc., give her the power to get back on the road safe and fast w zero help from others. Makes a great affordable gift for a new driver or car owner too. Today is June 12 2023,I just open the Ralxer Jump Starter to find out it didn't work for the first time of use 😔 and on top of this it's been 30 days of purchase May 12 2023 (which mean no return) to find out company policy., I'm not happy with this product that doesn't work I'm stuck with a piece of Crap😢...I should have payed attention to the reviews on this product the company needs to do a test run before selling this Jump Starter. 😢 Update it's July 07 2023, I decided not to throw it away but what the heck I open up the smart cables and found out that the relay is bad. All I needed was the company to send me another smart cable and I would have been satisfied with the Relxer Jumper. I hear good things about it, I just had this one issue with it. ... show more

I have a 2020 hybrid vehicle, and for reasons above me - its 12V battery once a while discharges. That means the main MCU dies, and no electronics are operational. Even though the hybrid has a separate high-voltage battery, that it can use to turn on the gas the ignition cycle, but the fact that MCU has died makes the car dead. The MCU doesn't need too much current, and a couple of amps (I think) are enough to get it up and running. The reason for the above pretext was to highlight that my usage might be different from traditional ones, where you need high ampere battery starter to jump start the gas ignition. I was looking for something more lightweight and low ampere that can spare me the trouble of calling a toe-truck to wake up the MCU. So far the trouble of using the RALXER hasn't arrived, but I charged it up and checked it using my multimeter and the output voltage looks good. I want to say I am confident that when the need arrives, RALXER jump starter will be there for the rescue. It is lightweight to throw it at the back during the trips, and even comes with a handy charging USB-C port. In short, I purchased peace for my mind in little over 40 bucks, and I think it is totally worth it. I will update the review if and when I end up using the starter. Edit - March23 So I finally had a situation where I needed to awaken my hybrid. The 12V battery had discharged overnight and I needed just a small amount of trickle charge to get things running again. The jump starter was amply charged and I had hoped I will go through this situation in a breeze. Alas! That didn’t turn out how I thought. It couldn’t do the job and no matter what I did, the green led didn’t light up on the dongle I checked with my multimeter, and indeed the output through the dongle was way low. The output through the dongle hook was more than 12v! Surprised, I researched this a bit and came to know that the dongle itself requires some input charge from the battery it is supplementing. That sounds counterintuitive but that’s how it checks off connection polarity is good or not. This means if your battery is car completely discharged, as was my case, it will not work. That’s a bummer. I saw other dongles allow for a bypass option that disables external battery checks, and provides the output juice. I couldn’t figure out how can I bypass the dongle limitation with this unit, and therefore taking off a star. To sum it up, The unit still works fine if your battery has some juice left but not otherwise. ... show more

Fully charged it in March when I bought this item. Had to use it today (June 3) but it didn't work. Checked battery indicator and it showed almost full battery. Plugged everything in and the green indicator light (the one that says you're good to go start the car) turns on then 2 seconds later slowly fades away like it was low battery. I went inside to charge the battery and it finished charging in like an hour because it still had most of its charge. Went to go use it and it worked. You guys may want to recharge it every now and then to make sure the battery doesn't go dormant it something. ... show more
