So small that it should not be considered a rake viable for raking leaves in the yard. It is mainly for cleaning out beds. It's my fault, as I should have paid more attention to the dimensions, but the pictures make it look much bigger than it actually is.

This has always been my favorite type of rake. But with most companies they make a weak short handle. Not with this baby, the handle is as long as you want it to be and made very strong. Love it, would buy again.
