Quite useful tool, especially for octogenarian. Solid enough tool. I seem to unscrew handle as I work, which is slightly annoying. A simple pin rather than threaded connections might be more to my satisfaction.

At first the product was delayed. Amazon let me know. I reordered it. It came fast. Comes as a kit that is very easy to put together. Full steel except for plastic protectors. The protectors are NOT part of the structure. The rake can be fit for a short person or tall, short reach or long. Easy instructions for assembly. Men will not need instructions as it is not complicated. Chuckle. Tools to assemble are included. I haven't used it yet, but after close examination, appears to be virtually indestructible. At this point very good value for the product. This should last the rest of my life. If I need a back up rake, I will order this product again. ... show more

I purchased this to help dethatch and get up some debris during a yard renovation. It worked really well until the rake stem and handle became loose. A cheap rivet is used in place of something that would be more durable long term. The tines are GREAT and really get after small to moderate sized rocks. Sadly it just doesn’t hold up. I used it for 5-6 hours before I became too worried about breaking it and set it aside for lighter use or improvised repair ... show more
