The self-cleaning emitter with turbulent flow design flushes out sediments to reduce clogging. Use with ¼ in. tubing branching off a larger supply line, or attach directly into larger supply tubing to irrigate shrubs and trees in landscapes & plants in container pots and hanging baskets. Emitter is made of polyethylene and silicone treated with UV inhibitors. Drip irrigation systems are easy to customize, install, and operate. Pressure compensating emitters are designed to maintain a constant flow rate at varying inlet pressures and at each position along the length of tubing. I needed a reliable dripper for my chameleon to drink from and I was tired of messing with the variable nozzles and their super sensitive knobs. These are perfect. They give me the perfect slow drip rate for him to drink from and I don't have to worry about it the knob is set right.

    • Terrible QC with these drippers
I received these yesterday and installed them today. First off there were only 9 drippers in the 10-pack. Secondly, three of the drippers did not work at all. I pulled them off the 1/4" hose end, made sure the line was clear of debris, even swapped them with other working ones and the problem stayed with the bad drippers. Amazon was great about the return, but it is really frustrating to start a project, only to leave it half finished due to poor quality control on behalf of the manufacturer. ... show more

Each plant gets its own accurate, no waste water supply. Be sure to get the support stakes to keep drippers in place off the dirt.

    • Solved my over watering problem
My HOA landscaper said the don't make 1/2 gph emitters. Wrong. These are in the same zone as my 2 gph 1/2 drip irrigation pipes which were under watering the larger shrubs. I can now increase the run time to avoid over watering the plants in the pots. They 1 gph emitters for the pots. These cut the water delivered in half which is what I wanted.
