  • Nice steady drip
Size: 1/4-inch x 50-foot Color: Black
I have two 6-foot-long planters with flowers, that I water with a timed system. I ran one line down the center of each planter, and now they both get watered with just the right amount of water each time the system runs its course. The flowers in these planters are close together, and I didn't want to use a ton of emitters. This drip line is perfect. Being black, you don't even see it in the planter. Perfect product. ... show more

  • A solution to the drought and local water restrictions!
Size: 1/4-inch x 50-foot Color: Black
I've converted many of my "spray-type" sprinkler heads to these soaker hoses. I have reduced total water consumption by reducing loses from evaporation. These concentrate the water nearer the roots of the shrubs, flowers, bulbs and herbs. Easy to connect to existing system with fittings from Amazon. I just pull back some of the mulch, place the soaker hose, cover over with the much and connect to sprinkler system for automatic watering, better conservation of precious water resources. • LOVE this - wish I'd found it sooner.
Size: 1/4-inch x 50-foot Color: Black
I wanted to add drip system to hanging rectangular flower baskets. I did one about a month ago, using emitters, which creates problems trying to water something long and thin, and seemed to overwater no matter how low I tried to to set them. Today I replaced the emitters with the 1/4" soaker. All of them worked perfectly, and none of them overwatered/dripped. As I saw another review saying this line had pinholes and a lot of spray. I watched very closely during the watering and yes, there were a few small points (maybe 2-3 along a 22-24" length of soaker line) where there was some "spray". But it was not like a SPRAY, but a VERY fine mist, not even enough to make the deck show any signs of dripping (I could feel it if I got w/in about 8-10" of the hanging planters in the direct line of the mist). I simply moved the line under plants so that a leaf was over those teeny tiny holes to redirect those drips downward. So far, so good. ... show more

  • Didn't do as well as I'd hoped
Size: 1/4-inch x 50-foot Color: Black
I was disappointed in this product. Itdors not seem to supply consistent watering nor as much water to the plants as our other drip hose does. My pole beans especially struggled this year with this hose, and I believe the reason was insufficient water. One reason could be that the hose oozes water all the way around, but what comes out on the top evaporates rather than soaking the soil. Whatever the reason,, we have removed all the soaker hose from our irrigation system and replaced with standard 1/4" drip hose with 6" spaced emitters. ... show more

  • 2 month ship time
Size: 1/4-inch x 50-foot Color: Black
Has anyone mentioned that when you order it it takes almost 2 months to get to you? That’s ridiculous. Otherwise, I have ordered these before and they are good but just know if you have hard water you will be replacing these about once a year because they get clogged with mineral deposits. That’s not particular to this brand, but just with all soaker tubing. ... show more

  • Great Soaker Hose!!
Size: 1/4-inch x 50-foot Color: Black
I purchased 3 rolls of the 1/4" soaker hose for my garden from Home Depot. After getting everything setup I opened the value and almost no water came through. At first I thought maybe the length of my run was too much for the 1 valve. So I split it up onto 2 valves but it still was getting little to no water?!?! I then tried removing the pressure valve and increasing he flow rate. No difference except my 1/2 fittings blew out. Finally, I researched soaker hoses online and found all are not equal. I heard about Raindrip and gave it a try since I found it here on Amazon. I replaced all the HD hose I purchased with the Raindrip and started over with all on one valve. Turned system on and immediately had water flow for all area! Wish I had researched before buying, but who knew there was soaker hose that doesn't work? Do yourself a favor and just by the Raindrip hose and save yourself time and aggravation. ... show more
