  • Easy-Peel D-I-Y Concrete Foundation Crack Repair Kit A+++++
Size: 10-foot Kit
I had about a 6ft long verticle crack on the side of my foundation. Water leaked in and damaged the lower part of my dry wall in the corner of the basement and got some of my carpet wet. I didn't want to break into my drywall and ruin the seamless look. So I decided to tackle the job from the outside. I dug a whole on the outside of my foundation till i found the bottom of the crack. At the bottom of the crack it ended at the corner and was cracked partially on the front side of the house too. I followed the instructions closely and it was very easy plus it comes with a cd so you can see a video of how to do it too. This helps a lot. You have to be quick when mixing the adhesive and applying the injection ports. Be very generous and spread it wide. Make sure you have no holes and be sure to get under each port very well so there are no pin holes. If there are pin holes you will find them when do you do the injection. Don't worry you can still have a successfull job done with pin holes. The only confusing part was that they stated it may take you 3-4 minutes at each port. I thought that meant keep injecting more in until it comes out the port above and this might take 3-4 minutes. I was wrong, and I used more than i needed. Squeeze 3 or 4 times fully and let it sit for a few minutes and it will foam up and start coming out of the port above. If you wish you can inject a little more to be sure. Once finished I let it all dry. Here came the test. The hole i dug was right under the gutter. The next day we had heavy rain and storms. My gutter popped off and water was gushing into my 6 ft hole. The next day after the storm the hole was completely filled with water to the top! It was a pool of water just sitting against my foundation for hours. I ran into the basement where it leaked before and nothing! Not a drop of water came in. I was so lucky and thankful this kit worked. It saved me hundreds of dollars and was easy enough to do myself. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to repair a crack themselves and save money. This kit works well! ... show more

  • Great product, great results, even with a sloppy application.
Size: 10-foot Kit
This is an amazing product for a do-it-yourselfer. I used this kit to repair a five foot crack in my basement wall that was causing a small stream. I am happy to report that it has been pouring down rain for a week, and there is absolutely no sign of water. There was clear instructions and a DVD how-to guide included with the kit. I had a little bit of trouble with a couple of pinhole leaks during the first stage of the two part process. These where quickly identified and sealed during the initial testing of the first step. Additionally, I had a port seperate during the injection of epoxy due to me not adhering the port well, see picture. I would note that my wall is 95 years old and not smooth at all. For how rough my wall was, I was very happy with how well everything held. I would suggest the following: quickly apply the first step from one end of the crack to another. I jumped from place to place, which I think caused my two pin hole leaks and kept some of the material from peeling off with the rest, see picture. Second, building up the first-step material around the ports is important, as you don't want them to separate during the process. Even though my job was sloppy, the crack sealed up great. With a little more care, I could have prevented my mistakes, and at the end of the day, the patch has held. The first picture is the lower part of the crack and is what the wall should look. The second picture is what not to do, and I will have to clean it up later. ... show more

  • Pretty straight forward
Size: 10-foot Kit
Instructions were easy to understand, watching the video included or just search for the video on youtube. The video seems to use an older kit than the one I received, but it made no difference. Patience is key with this. The adhesive step is very important and it sets fairly quickly so only mix a little at a time and work fast so you can spread it out where it needs to go. A little messy to clean up but that is likely due to user error. I would recommend using this kit. ... show more

  • Excellent for the right application
Size: 10-foot Kit
I have used this product to repair two different cracks now. However, I slightly modified the installation procedure because both of the cracks I filled were very narrows. In short, I used a rotohammer to drill pilot holes 2/3 of the way into the wall, every 8 inches of the crack. This drilling technique is actually what many of the professionals do. Once the holes were drilled out, I then epoxied the injection ports over each hole. I found it best to epoxy the seal along the crack as I installed the ports down the crack. This gave a tighter seal and prevented leaks. From here, I followed the remaining instructions as listed by injecting the expanding foam into the ports slowly. The expanding polyurethane flowed very nicely through the pilot holes, filled the crack completely, and then eventually did flow out of the port directly above injection. The process did make quite a mess, but cleanup is pretty easy with a razor knife once the foam sets up. The most important test came weeks later when our area experienced really serious rain. Thankfully, the product worked and my installation was ok as no water at all came through this newly repaired crack. In fact, I saw no weeping or moisture of any kind after the repair. Thus, overall, I am really pleased with this product and can confirmed that I saved a great deal of money by doing this work myself. The only negative I can point out is that the two tube of of polyurethane were not enough to fill one of my 8ft cracks. I ran out of product about 2/3 the way up the wall and had to purchase a second kit to complete the task. Thus, if you have a wide crack or a crack with a significant void, you might want to purchase an extra tube of poly before you begin. ... show more
