    • Shoddy, not as described, inadequate assembly instructions
At the time of purchase the product information was incorrect or misleading in several ways (I'll be reporting that). 1) This dresser is not 19" deep as described; it's 15.5" deep. The reason I bought this instead of other similar (and less expensive) dressers was the extra depth. 2) In addition, while one of the images shows the external face of the drawer as 6.7" high (which is correct), that is misleading as to actual drawer capacity-- internally each drawer is a mere 3 inches high with usable space of only 1/2 inch above that. That's a lot less than I expected from outer appearance. 3) No anti-slip pads were included; nor were they listed in the assembly instructions. 4) Silver screw heads are clearly visible externally (and there aren't even cover up buttons), but most of the images of the product that did show the sides, showed them as completely smooth. Other problems. As others have mentioned, the assembly instructions, while not completely useless, are missing some steps or are unclear. I'm fairly familiar with this kind of assembly, so I was able to manage eventually, but I was initially stymied by the drawer rails - they came with both sides of each rail connected and it took me a long time to figure out how to separate them (a hard to see plastic lever that needed to be manipulated). Also, two screws were missing (fortunately I was able to scrounge up near equivalents in my spare-screws collections). Another notable point of confusion was several images where the "hardware" side is shown facing out, as if that's the final assembly for that part, when it's not (ultimately you need to turn the pieces so the finished side faces out). Finally, cosmetic issues. Several pieces were stamped with part numbers on portions that were externally visible when assembled--and I haven't figured out if the ink can be removed without messing up the finish--mild soap and water doesn't work. Several surfaces (including some externally facing) were marred or dingy in ways that could not be hidden or cleaned. Super-frustrating and disappointing experience overall. It gets two stars instead of just one because in the end it did end up assembled and functional--all the pieces did fit together and the drawers work. However, with the smaller depth than expected and the very shallow drawers I don't really have a good use for this -- it's not going to serve the purpose I originally intended it for. Even if I hadn't assembled it already, it would be an awkward item to repackage and return, so before long this'll probably end up curbside where it might find a use with someone else as a free item. (Was definitely not worth anything close to what I paid for it.) ... show more

1.Not worth what I paid for. 2. Instructions where not clear at all. 3. Sizes are misleading and smaller than what is written. I bought it because it was bigger than the other drawers but everything was different than described. 3. Cannot return it because I spent a lot of time assembling it.

Not what I expected. It is a very deceiving description as it says 24, yet it is 16 deep, parts are all chipped, the paint is peeling off as well, and the instructions are almost useless with mixed headwear and after all of the guessing it wobbles side to side with minimal effort. Not worth it

It's really the worst. The items were broken in several places and the assembly brochure was a mess. I can't return it because it's heavy, but please don't really buy this one. It's the worst thing ever.
