Yes, these bars are indeed considered keto-friendly. They have a low net carb count, meaning most of the total carbs come from fiber which is not absorbed by the body. This makes it a great choice for those following a ketogenic or other low-carb diet.

Each Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough bar from Quest contains 21 grams of carbs. However, 14 grams of this is dietary fiber and only 4 grams are net carbs, the rest being Erythritol, a sugar alcohol that the human body does not absorb, hence won't spike your blood sugar levels.

Yes, these protein bars are gluten-free, making them suitable for individuals with celiac disease or those who are avoiding gluten in their diet.

  • Good quality
Flavor Name: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Size: 2.12 Ounce (Pack of 12)
Quest bars taste amazing - are high protein and low carb. I enjoy the convenience to having my Quest bars delivered to my home. Unfortunately, my past two purchases the bars are very dry, powdery almost. The texture quality of the bars I buy in store is better. As an update, my most recent delivery of Quest bars is great! Fresh bars that taste great! ... show more

  • Usually great bars, but not this order
Flavor Name: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Size: 2.12 Ounce (Pack of 12)
These protein bars are usually great. I’ve enjoyed them for years. In my latest shipment the actual bars were good, but the chocolate pieces were dry and crumbly. Not soft and smooth like they usually are. If this was my 1st experience with Quest chocolate chip cookie dough bars I wouldn’t order them again. Hopefully the next delivery will be up to Quest’s usual quality. If not, I’ll rethink buying them in the future. Update- The Quest bars in my next shipment were back to Quest’s usual great quality. The bars were soft and chewy with chocolate pieces that were moist and smooth. I’m back to a 5 star rating for these tasty, satisfying protein bars. ... show more

  • Delicious
Flavor Name: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Size: 2.12 Ounce (Pack of 12)
These are the most tasty of them all. They’re the perfect size and the texture is like eating a candy bar. They kind of smell like a peanut butter cup. The value is definitely worth it. As a matter of fact they’re so good that we subscribed so we get them every two weeks on auto order.

  • Tastes great & fairly filling but raises blood sugar & is expensive
Flavor Name: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Size: 2.12 Ounce (Pack of 12)
I think the cookie dough chocolate chunk has to be 1 of the most addicting flavors ever haha It is REALLY good!! Being a diabetic tho i still have to keep an eye on my blood sugar with these protein bars since just 1 can raise a normal blood sugar level of 80-120 to sometimes well over 200 or more even with only 1 gram of sugar & for how expensive they are, i really would think there could be more done with the ingredients to make them just a little bit more diabetic friendly. They have been my absolute favorite protein bar of all time ever since i got them though hehe. :^) ... show more

  • Best bang per calorie protein bars
Flavor Name: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Size: 2.12 Ounce (Pack of 12)
I have read the nutrition info on innumerable supposed "protein bars" that either have very little protein, bunch of sugar, palm oil, or other weirdness. Quest are unbeatable. Top in protein grams per calorie with no weird ingredients. Plus they taste great. Try them. Truly worth the minimal extra cost. ... show more

  • Premier Protein bars. Disgusting
Flavor Name: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Size: 2.12 Ounce (Pack of 12)
I have used Quest Protein bars for the past two years after Gastric Sleeve weight loss surgery. I have never had a problem with my orders except for the past two weeks. I subscribed to the service and ordered this bars as well as Premier Protein Clear Protein drink. On my shipment this month they put 2 cases of the protein drinks in the same box as the protein bars. The box was water damaged and caved in. When I opened the box, the boxes of bars were smashed by the drinks and the bar boxes open. Called customer service and stated I was not comfortable eating these bars with the COVID situation. They said they would send 2 boxes of bars for replacement. Received the bars yesterday and opened one box. The bars are inedible . The chocolate chunks are not fresh and they are cloudy looking as well as disintegrated. Chalky at best. Can’t even eat them. Opened the second box. Bars were in the same condition. Chocolate chunks chalky and falling apart. Both boxes are disgusting. I don’t know how long they’ve been sitting in a warehouse but they definitely have been through heat and no telling what else. They are going in the garbage. I wouldn’t even feed them to the stray animals at the dumpsters here in Louisiana. Totally disgusting. I’m on a subscription with these but will be canceling that. This mess is not worth the money. Totally has screwed up my daily meal plan. I drink a clear protein drink in the morning, Premier Protein chocolate shake for lunch and this bar for supper. I was getting the shakes through Amazon but they were just sludge and vile. I get them through Walmart now and would advise anyone too. Well my protein intake is messed up now. I won’t be getting all of my protein I’m supposed to. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for them at Wal Mart. I have never had a problem with the freshness of them there. I don’t know if they sent me this mess they sent me since I complained about my smashed and open boxes. I’ve opened three tonight and they all look like these pictures. I don’t see Amazon making this right since they sent me this crap as replacements for their previous mistake. I mean who sends 2 cases of 12 16.9 oz drinks in the same box with protein bars and gum? According to customer service the warehouse did it to save a box. Seriously? Damaged my bars to save a box. And yes those drinks are heavy. They usually come packed in a box by themselves with heavy stickers on the outside. As a Prime member I expected more from Amazon. Especially since I do the majority of my shopping from them. Have my monthly order coming on the 1st of August. And I was sent a notice they won’t have my protein drinks in stock and don’t know when they’ll get them back. Other than the condition I received them in from Amazon they are usually a very good tasting product and I’ve been using them for awhile. But that was when I was ordering them by the individual box. Maybe I need to go back to that. They were never damaged. Saving a few cents on the subscription program is not really saving if you get products that are screwed up and you can’t eat them. The only reason I’m giving them 1 star is because you have to rate them. Otherwise they’d be a negative 3 ... show more

  • Delicious flavor and perfect texture
Flavor Name: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Size: 2.12 Ounce (Pack of 12)
These Quest Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough bars are so good, I almost forgot they’re healthy! It’s like they snuck into the dessert aisle and decided to live a double life as a protein bar. With 21g of protein and only 1g of sugar, I can feel like I’m cheating on my diet while still being keto-friendly. Just be warned: You’ll have to resist the urge to microwave it and pretend you’re eating actual cookie dough. But hey, at least your muscles will thank you later! 💪🍪 ... show more
