Just put it on my bed and so far it's a winner. All I wanted was a mattress cover to keep my mattress clean AND to fit well, and I think this product fulfills my needs. I'm replacing a cover that I paid 3 times more for that was supposed to fit tightly, but it didn't despite the fact that it had a thicker elastic band at the bottom of the skirt. This pad has a thinner elastic band BUT it fits beautifully - no ripples or bagging in the cover at the top of the bed or at its sides and the cover lays flat on the surface which is a big plus as I don't like sleeping on wrinkles or folds. The face fabric is not a woven fabric, but rather something more felted like Pellon interfacing. I did test to be sure the mattress protector is waterproof before washing and putting it on my bed. The fit is good and the sides are generous enough to wrap around under the mattress so that the elastic stays in place.     • Love this mattress protector it’s waterproof yet comfortable & cool.
I have had this Waterproof Cushioned Mattress Cover now for several months and I am very impressed with how soft it is, and how cool it is to sleep on and yet waterproof without that plastic noise like your sleeping on a diaper, but most of all it has washed-up very well and has remained soft, cool, & waterproof. bought a king size. this fits well, is quite padded and comfortable. Our dogs sleep with us and the moisture resistant barrier is reassuring to keep our new mattress clean! It also doesn't make 'crinkle noises' like some cheaper pads do that have plastic lining
