This is a big improvement over the one I had and I'm very happy with it. It is quiet, it is warm but not hot, and stays in place on the mattress which was my main concern.

I purchased this waterproof mattress pad but was concerned #1, is it going to feel like a plastic pad? Absolutely not! It's soft, has some padding but you also could put an additional pad over it if so desired. And waterproof? So far, yes! I also put a waterproof pad, like a 4x4 also purchased on Amazon, and we've had some accidents so those make a great addition so if there is a small leak, it saves from changing the whole bed! The fit? Out mattress is the tallest one I've ever seen, and it fit, no problem! The accidents are new to me, my hubby is 78 & having bladder issues so I'm being proactive by using multiple products but they are working great! And a great value too! ... show more

Shopping for and purchasing a Mattress pad/protector is not very exciting, but this one is a good choice! Our mattress is deeper and this pad fit nicely. It isn't going to pop off and the waterproof element is a bonus. The construction is good, with excellent seams.
