I would rather have a thicker mattress but this will do. Hes not a fan of any kind of firm but figured that it would last longer than a super soft mattress. He really likes the mattress, we took it out as soon as it came. We let it sit out for 3 days so it expanded properly. This is my second bed in a box (not from same brand) and so far I have had no issues. We don't have a box spring yet so he is flopped on the floor, lol. Our dog sleeps in the bed with him and says when the dog moves he can't feel him moving and hes a big dog. He also said that when laying down you cannot feel the springs. ... show more

Bed is pretty comfortable, slightly firm but if you want a bed where you sit on the edge often I wouldn't recommend this one because you sink down too much.

We FINALLY got the chance to try out this mattress, as we got it for using at our vacation home & we haven't had the chance to go to until recently. We're using it as a guest room mattress & from what I've experienced laying on it so far, I'm assured our guests will be very comfortable. We let it sit two days prior to testing it out as the directions suggested & I didn't notice any horribly offensive smelling odor, like some mattresses have. I'd put it in the category of a medium-firm support, which is perfect. When my husband & I layed on it, each of us tossed around a bit individually & I didn't think my position bounced around an unacceptable amount whatsoever. When sitting on the edge, it has great support, no sagging on the edges. I'm 5'4" & my husband is 5'11", I'm in the 185# area while he's around 250# & we both felt the mattress was very accomodating for our weight & height. I ordered a full size bed. I like the bed is true to size. I waited the allotted time for the bed after being compressed to fully open and set up. That took around 48 hours for the bed to relax back to it’s position after being compressed in the box before I could fully use it. Though I have to say it looked like it came up immediately except for it’s corners. I also took it out of the box per instructions of the first 72 hours after receiving the mattress. I am still waiting for the corners to fully come up. I found the bed made well. I like that the edges are sewn well. I like the color of the bed. I found the cloth to be a medium grade that is on the top of the mattress. The euro top cushion on the top is nice. It gives me extra support and comfort for a good nights sleep. I found that the mattress is a little more on the firm side. This is the way I like my mattress, to soft gives me a back ache. I like that mattress gives my back the firmness it needs. My husband and I found that we did not sink in toward the middle as some beds do. I like it is silent, there is no creaking noise with it when I am moving around at night or the husband is moving. My sheets fit on the bed well. I like that the coils seems to be well made on the bed. I think that is a affordable bed. I found the mattress is not to light weight. I like it seems to be pretty durable. I am hoping for many years of use with this bed. I have enclosed pictures so you can make an informed decision based on your own personal needs.
