This frame looks very modern and simple. The upholstery looks nice and I'm pretty thrilled with it overall. Regarding construction - There is no question that this is a Chinese product. The instructions have awkward wording at times, but overall the diagrams for building made enough sense that I figured it out. The Allen wrench provided stripped out pretty fast, but they include a nicer ratchet tool for really tightening the screws at the end of the build. It was a decent effort, but still a 1-person job to build. My biggest concern is the quality of the wooden boards that are supposed to support the mattress. I got splinters from handling them, but they also feel really cheap. One was partially split right out the packaging. I feel like these are going to be a failure point pretty early on, but we'll see. The bed does also sit a bit low, but that's more of a personal preference issue and also a quick fix if you buy some risers. ... show more
