The platform comes in smallish flat package and weighs about 36 lbs; mine was missing several bolts which was awkward, but I managed. Best done with good lighting and extra room. It can be assembled by one person, but would be easier with two, at least at the beginning when you try to get the parts to align. My only "complaint" so far, is the mattress slips around a great deal on the frame. I wish there was some way of anchoring the bed, but all in all I am quite happy with my new bed frame. ... show more

So this bed did arrive a day later than scheduled no fault to seller was a shipping issue but it was certainly worth the wait. The instructions were wonderfully illustrated and concise and each part was easily discernible by the pics even better they were actually labeled too!! The packaging was superb everything bundled together with foam padding and paper so no scratches. Assembled by myself in 30 mins just phenomenal thank you so much ... show more

This product is horrible. A shred of metal chipped off when I was screwing the bolts into place and cut my finger and got stuck in it. One of the bolts would not fit into the one of the holes to connect the frame peices together because there was a piece of metal preventing it from going in. Never buy this bed frame it is not well made at all ... show more
