This is a neat little plane and can be easy to fly on a calm day with little to no wind. The battery life is real good considering it held for five minutes at 15 foot altitude and three quarter throttle almost motionless. After having to dive-bomb crash land the plane I also found that it is very durable and can take a hit with no issues. For a beginner or youth wanting to get into flying I definitely recommend this for a starter before moving up to a more advanced and complex plane. ... show more

Nice little RC plane for anyone who is starting out in the hobby. This is not a plane for very experienced fliers because it is very basic but for someone who wants to learn how to fly an RC plane this is a great starter plane.

I have never flown an RC plane before getting ahold of this QI XING RC Plane. It is 100% ready for beginners and if you watch their little video, it actually works as it shows in the video! The plane is light, and if you don't pay attention to where you are flying you WILL LOSE IT. Be cautious of where you fly so you don't lose it because man, it goes!! Take off is as simple as a throw, but landing....well unlike in the video I cannot catch it to save my life and I am terrified of the propeller haha. So it crashes....a lot. It is light and flexible and has so far actually held up by the propellers are already bending a bit and the nose is beginning to deform. Again, not the fault of the manufacturer, just my poor ability to fly. For a beginner plane this thing is spot on and I recommend purchasing this for your first RC plane. I will be honest though...after flying this...I am NOT ready to spend the big bucks for a "big boy" RC plane lol. ... show more

This RC plane is good buy, considering its high performance with reasonable price. I took some time to compare a few RC planes before settling on this one due to its more realistic appearance. I was impressed when I discovered that the package included a spare rechargeable lithium battery and a spare set of wheels. It was effortless to assemble the plane (just insert the wheels as shown in my attached pictures). The operation was smooth and fun. The lithium battery seems to last longer than promised in the product description. Oh, a breeze won't affect its performance even though flying under windy conditions should be avoided It is true that this plane is a good one for beginners, but you will have no less fun as you become more experienced. One caution and I think this applies to any RC plane: Find a large open area before trying to fly the plane, especially if you are a beginner. This will avoid losing a beloved plane in the case that the plane is flying away while you are figuring out how to control it. It will be helpful too if you set the flying speed to a low level in order to give yourself more time to maneuver your controller. In any rate, get yourself familiar with the controller before flying the plane. ... show more
