Basic Cheap Subwoofer that I would recommend for a hatch back or similar 2 seater for a light extra bass. This thing takes up 1/3 of the space compared to most standard boxes and about a 1/2 the size larger than those cheap under the seat boxes. I purchased 2 of these at the same time and ran them together in the same SUV. This speaker sounds great. Provided you use the correct cables instead of the ones Amazon suggests. You need cables that are dual and not mono. Secondly, you do not need a separate AMP. The Amazon description does not say the box has an amp built-in. One does not need to buy an AMP. I have included what is on the insert in the packaging so you can see it says it has an AMP. Sounds good. A lot of bass for the price. The only issue is it causes a ton of interference. Radio is useless when its on. Only close and strong signals will make it through. I worked as a installer for many years and never seen that bad of issue. If you plan on playing media its a great purchase.
