  • Great stuff!
Tried a couple different patches before settling on this product and I wish I had just went straight to this the first time! Had a tear right in the seam on my Ice Pod cold plunge's inflatable top. So awkward for a patch. Followed the directions and squeezed all the air out, applied the liquid without brushing it, and let it sit. May have been good at two hours like it recommends but it was pretty chilly out so I gave it about 4 hours to be safe. Inflated it to it being very taught, heard no air escaping and two days later after several very cold nights it's still fully inflated. Great product! ... show more

  • Works Great
So far, I have fixed four pin hole slits in a twenty year old air mattress that belonged to my mom. After applying the product and letting it dry, I have laid down on the mattress and not one of the four repairs leaks. Five stars to a great product. Please note that I spread the product at least 1/4 inch around the hole so that the product has more surface space to adhere to the vinyl. Request to Amazon Vine. I was a member of Amazon Vine last year (2023) and then had some medical issues in the first half of 2024, where I was unable to actively participate in Amazon Vine. Unfortunately, Amazon Vine dropped me from their program, due to inactivity. I would like to request that Amazon Vine reinstate me into the program. Thank you. ... show more

  • Worked perfect for fixing a seam hole in an vinyl inflatable kayak
We have a two person Intex inflatable kayak we purchased here on Amazon, and it developed a leak on the floor in the bow of the boat in an area very difficult to access. Because it was in a seam it was virtually impossible to get a patch on it, and on top of that because it was in the enclosed bow of the boat you had to be the size of a 3 year old to get up to the leak. I thought I would try this first because you can apply it directly to a hole without a patch, and since I could barly see/reach the hole it was my best hope. Much to my surprise, it worked great! With much complaining and contortion I was able to reach the hole (about a 1/8 inch tear) with an alchohol swab to clean it, and then with the boat deflated I was able to reach the tube in and generously smear the area with PVC stich. I let it dry for an hour and repeated the process twice to make sure I had thorough coverage. After setting overnight I pumped up the boat and NO LEAK. It managed to create a flexible seal that adhered to the vinyl, and I didn't need to cut, glue and apply a patch. Amazing stuff. I highly recommend the product. ... show more

  • Tube empty ! Unopened - full of air!
Tube was filled with air! The tube had the seal on when I took the cap off, but the tube was very light. Used the cap to open the seal and what was inside? Nothing! Filled with air - it clearly never had anything in it but air. Crazy. Scam or bad production? And this is somehow a non-returnable item. Hope this is a rare event - though I do see other reviews saying the same thing. ... show more

  • Disappointed, started leaking again
Bought this to repair 2 airbeds that had small leaks on the seams--the first hole was about 1/8" and the other was about 1/4". Followed the directions--clean area, apply glue, let sit for 24 hours. Used the airbed with the larger leak, and it began leaking again the first night. Switched it out for the airbed with the smaller leak and it was fine for the 1st and 2nd night, it began leaking again on the 3rd night. Not really worth the money if the repairs only last a day or two. ... show more

  • It works!
This might seem expensive but compare it to the cost of a new air mattress at $100 - $150 for anything decent (internal pump and made of PVC, not vinyl). I had to repair a spot where the seam separated. I had left it a tent pumped up pretty firm and the day got up into the 80s. It still probably would have been fine if I hadn't off taken a nap on it not letting some air out first. Operator error. It can be seen in the photo, about 1/4" in length. I had previously tried another product which used an adhesive and patches. This did not work for 2 reasons. It was a seam but more importantly when the air mattress is pumped up it stretches. This will pop the patch loose because they don't stretch the same. I tried putting successively larger patches (2) over the original patch. It held for one night but only because I used a heat gun to carefully heat up the patches and mattress while it was pumped up. The varying stretch though made the patch start leaking again. It was remarkably easy to peel the patches off to use PVC Stitch so they were never really well attached. I spoke with the owner of the company and did the following on his advice (love small companies. He had tested this product himself on various items including a BC bladder to more than 3 atmospheres. That's quite a bit more pressure than any air mattress will be under). I cleaned the area with 90% isopropyl alcohol (air was out but not sucked completely flat using the pump). I set up the mattress so the split in the seam was at the bottom of a shallow indentation. This was the hardest part because the mattress kept shifting. I used some light weights to hold it in place. I opened the tube of PVC Stitch and squeezed out enough so the seal would extend 1/2" on all sides of the split, and let it dry. Don't spread it out just let it flow out by itself. It will spread a little and flatten out by itself. As a note, I had asked how long the tube would last once open and was told to close out back up immediately. Do not let the tube sit open. It is about 80% solvent which is how it melts the surface of the object you're trying to repair do that the PVC Stitch is unitized with PVC or vinyl to trying to repair. I made the repair at about 65° F with under 50% humidity. I waited 24 hours to pump it up again but I was assured that it would be usable in about 2 hours (dependent on temp and humidity. Affects how rapidly the solvents evaporate). When you can no longer smell the solvents in the repair area is good to go. My air mattress is PVC which is the strongest type made and stretches the least (although they still stretch a little). I used it last night and it didn't leak a bit of air. This product saved me a lot of money, not to mention the fact that this air mattress is no longer available. Since this split when I was camping I had to go out and buy a replacement. The replacement leaks from the inflation, deflation port which apparently is a very common problem with this design. There is no way to fix that. The result is that a supposedly normally functioning air mattress has to be pumped up 2-4 times a night. My repaired air mattress is working flawlessly thanks to PVC Stitch. Thankfully I didn't throw it out even after the first attempt to fix it failed. ... show more
