I love these bands but the first thing I have a problem with, and it's minimal, is that when I do presses over my head, the fabric rubs up against my arm/back/shoulder and it hurts my skin. Like a pretty hard chafing kind of hurt. I like to workout without anything touching me, in a short sleeves tee, so that is a problem. With a long sleeve shirt, I don't have this problem but I don't like working out with anything in my way restricting me. The weight sizes are perfect and I really worked my arms out when I thought it was not doing anything. The bag is great but they are squeaky when gripping them and using them at the same time. If you don’t hold them tight you won’t hear the squeak. I’m trying to think of what to put in them to stop this squeaking. I don’t know yet. ... show more

I have always done body weight exercises. I prefer them over using weight machines because I feel they are a more natural range of motion and position for the body to exercise in with less chance of injury. However, my wrists hate me if I do push ups. Even extensive yoga training I have done for years - doesn't seem to strengthen them enough to hold a plank position comfortably. This board has so many adjustable positions that with the bars, I am able to hold a comfortable plank. I am not sure why this is lsited as "for men". I am a 5'6" woman with an athletic build, and it was okay. Maybe the sizing would be too big for someone petite. ... show more

Just got this, and so far it looks good. The plastic platform looked a little cheap at first, but after using it - it looks like it's built sturdy. These bands will definitely do the trick. But compared with my other bands, they don't feel heavy duty. They feel like they have more stretch, and therefore I may need to put two or three together to get the same results as one of my old bands. Also the handles are a little spindly.
