  • A lifesaver!
I have been a Type 1 Diabetic for 34 years. Even though I am in tight control I have trouble with wound healing including the occasional bacterial and fungal infection. Tea Tree Oil (with a carrier oil) irritates my skin but Manuka Oil (undiluted) does not. What I have found to be true of Manuka Oil ✧ 20 - 30 times stronger than Tea Tree Oil ✧ Non-toxic ✧ Antimicrobial, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory ✧ Can be applied (undiluted) directly to the skin Manuka oil works better for me than anything else on the market including topical prescription medications! ... show more

  • I like the sandalwood
Scent: Sandalwood (New Caledonia)
The Caledonia sandalwood smells good to me. The only ingredient listed is "santalum austrocaledonicum essential oil," it says nothing about additives or carrier oils. I asked if it smelled powdery like a lot of cheap sandalwoods do, and someone answered no, so I decided to try it. They were right, it does not have a baby-powder smell and I really like it overall! Indian sandalwood is still my favorite but I can't justify paying the price for it or the guilt I have due to it being so rare and overharvested, and I think Australian sandalwood has a rank undertone to it. This doesn't have that, either. Imagine Indian sandalwood which has a bit more of a sweet-perfumy smell and this is it. I'm VERY happy to find an Indian sandalwood substitute and will continue to order this Caledonia type when I need more!! *Edit: This oil came in a glass bottle. It has a dropper on the top that you have to puncture with an awl, but it still won't drip through so took it off and added a dropper top to it that I had laying around. I put two drops of it on my wrists this morning and I am still smelling it this evening. It still smells amazing, like Indian but a bit sweeter. I saw a review from 2020 that said it came in a plastic bottle and the scent didn't last very long. I'm not doubting them, but just wanted to let you all know the company has either changed things up since then or I got really lucky with the bottle I ordered because it's definitely different than what someone else got two years ago. ... show more

  • No sandalwood aroma, smell, fragrance
Scent: Sandalwood
Having worked with essential oils for 20+ years, I was totally surprised that this product had absolutely no smells. None, nada. Giving it one star is generous.

  • Sandalwood: affordable but very diluted in effect
Scent: Sandalwood (New Caledonia)
TLDR: Does not compare to other 100% Sandalwood essential oil. I'd estimate its effective essential oil content is closer to 5%. It's been difficult to find 100% Sandalwood Essential Oil from suppliers i've used in the past, and since I'm running low I took a chance on this product even though the price seemed to be lower than feasible. I suspect that either this is heavily stretched/diluted with a carrier oil, or the extraction method used is deactivating most of the aromatic compounds in the oil. If I'd bought this product and it had advertised itself as a 5% or 10% sandalwood essential oil, this would be living up to its product description and would have received a higher rating. This oil is still useful, but only in applications where you would have been adding a carrier oil anyway, and using more of this oil to obtain the desired effect. On the plus side, this does have a scent profile that matches sandalwood essential oil rather than fragrance oils trying to replicate it. Pros: - There is some authentic sandalwood scent - Have been apply directly to the skin without irritation Cons: - Low concentration of sandalwood, comparing side-by-side to another bottle (which was close to $100 for the same volume) it feels in the order of 20x less aromatic - (presumed) carrier oil doesn't have a conflicting fragrance - Low price ... show more

  • Perfect for the holidays
Scent: Clove
This essential oil takes me back to my childhood when holiday dinners included the smell of cloves in gingerbread topped with fresh whipped cream or baked ham and other delights were in abundance. You don't need much of the oil in your diffuser to spread the cheer throughout the house. It's also such a comforting and relaxing way to let go and let one's imagination take over during meditation. ... show more

  • Its only OK.
Scent: Sandalwood (New Caledonia)
I like it okay for the price. It smells nice. But it comes in a plastic bottle, and I'm no expert but any essential oil worth it's salt will be bottled in glass in my opinion. Also it does not come with a stopper or dropper. But that's ok because I had an empty glass bottle with a dropper that used to have lavender& almond oil in it(that I got from the dollar store!) Anyway I rinsed that out and put some of the sandal wood in there. I've only used it as perfume with coconut oil as a carrier oil. I feel like it fades too fast for my liking. But like I said it was ok for the money. So not hating it but also not loving, living and breathing for it like I wanted to. Oh well. 🤷♀️ ... show more

  • We use this oil to infuse our homemade soap, and it's kind of hit or miss...
Lots of functions and uses for essential oils, but we tried this one in our homemade soaps. The scent is generally pretty pleasing, but some of our infused batches seized up, which is usually an indication that there was an issue with the quality of the oil. We'll conduct a few more tests, but for the moment, my opinion of this oil is questionable. ... show more

  • Potent!..Worth the price!
Would have given the Rosemary Essential Oil 5 Stars if it was a little cheaper as it's just 1 ounce, but because it's worked out SO GOOD for my hair (I add it to my other hair products)..I can honestly say that this stuff is helping my hair to grow!!! ..So, now I'm on my second bottle and will purchase again once this runs out! :) --All you need is a few drops as it's very potent..and very strong!! ... show more
