I mainly use essential oils to fragrance soy wax candles, so my evaluation of them is limited to their effectiveness as a scent, rather than topical or flavor applications. I also blend scents, so again, consider that when deciding how much weight to give my review. This brand has a nice, soft, grassy scent and is the fourth brand of lavender I have tried over the past 5 years. I have found that lavender adds depth to candle scents when used with lemon, frankincense, bergamot, and even peppermint. It also calms the scent of the heavy florals such as ylang ylang, jasmine and rose without overpowering the target fragrance. But it is one of the pricier scents, so I tend to use it judiciously. I have also found that I don't need the best of the best to make a wonderful smelling candle. But they do need to be pure, clean and the right consistency. This one fits those requirements at the price point that keeps my candle costs down. As a precaution, know what type of lavender you like best. There is a distinct difference between them with French lavender being the most highly prized. It is more pungent & earthier than the Bulgarian. If you are looking for a lavender that is strong and grassy, the French is going to make you happiest. If you like the sweeter, less pungent style of lavender, as I do, this one is likely to satisfy you. This is the second scent I have purchased from HIQILI. I have bought a lot of duds that I was pretty certain were not what they claimed to be from the cheaper sources, and it was not worth the gamble. I have found shopping by brand to be the easiest way to avoid being ripped off, so I am glad I followed the advice of other buyers and purchased HIQILI. For a lower price point compared to my usual brands, this will keep costs down making it easier for me to offer my candles at an affordable price. ... show more

This is for the SANDALWOOD fragrance. I’ve seen this brand several times when looking for different oils. For some reason, I’d always gone with another brand; what a mistake!!! This is the most beautiful sandalwood oil—especially if you, like me, love sandalwood perfumes (Santal 33, Bois de Balincourt, Santal Grey, etc.). I’m so happy my home can smell so calm and relaxing! I’ve been using lavender for years but this is an amazing change. Sorry lavender! Zero gripes here! I’ve owned this for all of ten minutes but had to come and review immediately…and also upgrade to a 3 oz! I’m going to use this for everything. Update: got me a big bottle. I kept having to bring the small bottle to the bedroom to mix with my unscented lotion so I figure it was best! This mixes so well with lotion and the scent LASTS, far longer than most traditional fragranced lotion! I’m in love 🥰 ... show more

There is nothing to dislike about this HIQILI Cinnamon Essential Oil . It is the perfect Fall and Holiday scent for your home air diffuser or craft scents and whatever else you can think of :). I have tried many but, this one really has my attention. My house smells divine :) . It does not overpower at all. I am using this one for my diffuser, and I just ordered another bottle for crafts :). Indeed this Co. is good and packaging is outstanding:). I like the peppermint oil , i used in my diffuser and was please, when guest came in they said i smell a Mint. Days later i dropped a couple drops in the carpet in my bedroom, i was pleased was carefully not to do to much. I didn’t want it ti be overwhelming

I love all of Hiqili oils. I have bought normal sizes but now I’m buying them in bulk because I’m using them in my waterless diffusers constantly. The only down side is that the shipping is always a problem. I believe 3 of my orders have been spilled, bottle broken, or on the small ones, shattered glass. Amazon has been great about replacements/refunds but the shipping is a problem. I have 5 stars because the oil is ideal and I love the sandalwood, rose and grapefruit. This stuff is the real deal. If you love Patchouli, you'll notice a trend lately of many "imposters" claiming that they are Patchouli, but they smell NOTHING like it. The real stuff, well, let's face it, you can pretty much smell it a block away, and a little goes a long way. When I got it an hour ago, I opened the bottle and ahhhh...unmistakable REAL Patchouli. Finally. I was wondering if anybody sold genuine Patchouli anymore since the last few I tried were nothing like the real thing and needed to be sent back. I like to put a few drops in the laundry, so I probably use more than the average person, so I like the larger bottles. (Spiritual Sky has been around forever and is a good product too, but the bottles are too tiny to use liberally in laundry. Incidentally, I have purchased Tea Tree from HIQILI as well, (for athlete's feet) and it is hands down the strongest Tea Tree I have ever had. Hope this review helps :) ... show more
