    • Works well when set up correctly
When I first set up this fountain, I had it on a wood surface and the motor was so loud that I was very disappointed. Then I put it on a large cork coaster. When I first turned it on the second time, there was a noticeable trickling sound and I was trying to decide whether I could live with the pump noise. Then after about a minute, the trickling sound and the pump noise both disappeared. Now there is a very faint low hum which easily fades into the background as white noise. Honestly, my computer fan is much louder. I figure that between the cork absorbing sound and the pump becoming saturated with water, that's what finally made it quiet. True, it doesn't have a trickling water noise, but it is mesmerizing to stare at. I like it. ... show more

    • We Use It Outdoors
This is the second one We’ve bought. Got the first one about 4 years ago. As with the first one, we converted it to a solar outdoor foundation. We simply pulled off the pump that came with it from the upward flow tube and replaced it with a similar pump that connects to a solar panel. Then we set the fountain in a large shallow dish to make a bird bath. The first one held up really well. Survived thru almost daily scrubbings til the finish was nearly worn off, hence the purchase of the second one. It’s a nice sturdy little fountain that makes a small gurgling sound and the conversion to an outdoor bird bath has attracted all kinds of wild life which drink and bathe in it, hummingbirds, robins, chipmunks and squirrels just to name a few. Got this for my cats because cats naturally want a stream to drink from. This has helped my cats to stop going crazy for the sink or bathtub water lol! Super easy to assemble.

    • Loud Motor
This fountain looks very cute when setup, however all you hear is the loud motor. We wanted to hear the soothing sound of the water flowing but you don't hear it at all. Definitely sending this item back.

    • I had high hopes - very disappointed
Several things to mention for my unhappiness with this little fountain: 1) No instructions included whatsoever. Nada. 2) Very cheaply made 3) There are NO WATER SOUNDS produced at all - you can't even hear the pump. Nothing. Silent. 4) Packaged very poorly. They just dumped it in in a plastic bag and shoved it in a box the size of a small refrigerator. I do not recommend this product. ... show more

You can’t hear the water at all. All you can hear us the hum of the water pump, which is pretty quiet, but zero waterfall sound. I have a video, but no way to upload for my review.

Loud, couldn’t hear the water. Unfortunately, I dropped it when trying to rebox it for return and it shattered. :( it did look cute though.

    • Works like a charm.
Bought this for my friend who is turning her bedroom into a little mini spa. She loved it. We put it together and turned it on.Nice sound of water. It's a very good choice for smaller rooms. Shipping was fast and there were no problems at all. It arrived well packaged.
