I thought I wouldn't like this set. The material at first, I didn't care for because I thought it wasn't soft enough. However, the more you get used to it the better it feels. I'm not sure how that's possible but it's the most comfortable duvet set I've owned. It is easy to wash and I like that the pillow cases have inner folds to hold the pillow in place. I have super sensitive skin and it felt slightly rough to me. For most it will be fine. You have to wash off the treatment they put on it to make it look shiny. I soaked it in a solution of baking soda and vinegar for several hours, then washed on regular to break it in. It feels good on bare skin. Not super soft yet, but it will soften over time. I'm also a hot sleeper. It's a nice, sturdy, breathable cover that I got at a good price. I plan on removing the comforter and using the cover for a blanket in the summer. Update Nov 2020: I loved this duvet so much that I bought two more. I own three colors: brown (formerly known as bean paste), beige and ivory cream. The brown and beige are the same quality material and they have a “heathered” appearance which means not a solid color, but has variation. Both are beautiful and have held up well. The third one in ivory cream just arrived two days ago and I noticed it looked a little strange but thought it was just the lighting. Once I saw it in the daylight, I could see that there was a problem with the dye job as if it were dyed incorrectly. I have not washed this duvet yet, this is how it arrived out of the box. The ivory cream is a solid color, not heathered like the other two colors I have. I’ve reached out to the seller to inquire about a replacement. Since the other two are so great, I think the problem with the ivory cream is just a fluke and I expect that a replacement would not have any issues. Original: Love this so much! I have a problem with duvets sliding around inside their cover but this one is jersey so it doesn’t seem to have that problem! It’s so soft and light but it feels warm. It’s not overly heavy so I feel like I could use this all year round. I have the color bean paste and it looks a bit different depending on the lighting. It’s a brownish purple dark gray. It’s a perfect dark neutral color. It looks great with my dark wood frame bed! I have a cat with black fur and this seems to hide the fur nicely. Also my cats claws don’t get stuck in the fabric which is a nice color. I will buy this again in different colors I love it! ... show more
