These are the best "pee solutions" I've found so far. My little dogs go inside more during the winter so I put these on their usual pee spots to lessen the amount of cleaning I have to do. I love that they have multiple sizes to accommodate different spaces. The blue rug-like pattern is really beautiful and doesn't scream PEE PAD like the disposable versions do. The sticky texture on the bottom keeps stuck in place which is important when you have 4 dogs running around like I do. I also like that they're washable so I don't have to keep buying more and have them take up storage room that I need for other items. I usually throw them in the wash with other cleaning rags (cold) and they dry very quickly (low). And, best of all they are actually waterproof!! I can't tell you how many waterproof dog blankets I've purchased that let the liquid and scent seep through...onto my furniture. I was worried that these would also fail me but they did not! These pads are beautiful and actually look like a rug. I like the large size. They seem to be of good quality and washed well. They have not leaked and seemed to dry pretty fast. Time will how they hold up long term from repeated washing and use. As you can see from the picture my Yorkie approves of them! ... show more

These are fabulous! I have a new pup and she was shredding the paper type pads. They actually look like a rug, so they don't just stand out as a pee pad and they fit perfectly in the puppy play pen I bought. Since she's potty training to go outside, she's only peed on it once. I just threw it in the washer and dryer.....no waste. No issues with washing or drying it either. It's not very thick, but seems to absorb just fine. Did not notice any leakage. ... show more

I was pleasantly impressed with this rug. It looks really nice. It has a non slip backing that actually works. I will be using it for 2 Havanese puppies. So I tested the water proofing with 1/2 cup of water. The reason I only gave this rug 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the slow wicking. The water sat on top longer than I would like. However, it did eventually absorb and wicked away from top. The underside was completely dry. I would definitely recommend for small peeing dogs but larger ones it might be a bit messy if it takes a few mins to absorb. Something to think about. I bought 2 of the square one in the orangish medallions a couple months ago, and really loved how well these hide the fact they are pee pads. They look nice, are surged around the edges, and seem of nice quality. The square ones experienced some minor fading on the orange part, but otherwise work well. When I bought and finished my boys’ roof deck houses, I decided to get the smaller rectangular blue medallion pads, as seen in my photos. I overlapped both mats to get the coverage length I wanted, and I absolutely love how it looks and how it fools everyone into thinking it’s just a rug. One of my chihuahuas prefers to eat on his roof deck, so these pads make sure food (or dribbles) aren’t going through the deck into their beds below. They are just thick enough to provide weight so the corners stay flat, seem pretty darned durable so far, and doesn’t slide around as the pads have the little nonslip underside. The decorative side is a fabric, not a pile like rug, so it is easy(er) to spot clean. I have also purchased 2 of the gigantic 72x72 blue medallion pads, which I be placed on the floor under their playpen area this weekend. When the little one gets mad he sometimes marks things in the area, not to mention the water bowl sometimes gets tips if they are wrestling, so knowing my cheapo flooring isn’t getting drenched is the plan. I haven’t had to wash the blue medallion sets yet, but I suspect there will be some minor fading like the orange ones. Not a deal breaker for me since a faded version of this still looks a billion times better than pee pads 😂 I can’t recall the washing instructions off the top of my head, but I did follow them (temperature setting, air dry), and I opted to wash with baking soda only, since that is what I normally wash my dog stuff in. I have sprayed some enzyme cleaner on the orange pads I bought for my mini Aussie puppy, just for spot treatments and it seems fine. They have not smelled like puppy piddle after washing (enzymes? baking soda? both?) These could set you back a little more than other washable pee pads, but the appearance was worth the few extra dollars it cost me. An animal having or intentionally making accidents indoors just plain sucks but we can all take solace knowing that someone invented washable pet pee pads because WE ARE NOT ALONE! Get your bit of camouflaged peace and fear not the shame as your secret will be safe(r) unless you forget to wash them or tell on yourself when you have company. ... show more
