My daughter was potty trained by the time they arrived. Pull ups are great for parents but not potty training. My daughter just treated then like easy up and down diapers. So she wasn't consistent with potty training. Once I put her in REAL panties and she truly felt everything then she potty trained in 1 day. Yes these are easy on and off but if your child soils them they don't fold up nicely like a diaper and I've had her poop fall out the when I'm trying to fold it up to throw away and so it doesn't contain the smell in the trash as well. So walking it to dump the waste into the toilet to flush is the best option and then throw the diaper away. So with my next daughter, I won't be buying these and I'll just put her straight into panties when it's time. Oh and during nap and bed time, they're easy for your child to pull off and so I've had a huge mess to clean bc she pulled it off and then went to the bathroom in her bed. ... show more

Huggies is the best diapers so why would I try any others for potty training? My daughter loves the characters on them, I love they don't leak, or give her sensitive skin a rash. I had been given pampers my sister had left over from her children's potty training days and although they were great for leak protection they caused the worst rash my daughter's ever had. Was forced to buy these after my regular Pampers were on back order.... These have a cute design; but I think these are terrible for potty training. Every time my daughter attempted to pull up the diaper for potty training the side seam would rip! And can barely be re-attached so you just end up wasting diapers. They are also stiffer and less absorbent than I found Pampers. Will be switching back.... But I guess they get the job done for now.... ... show more

We have been using Huggies brand since my child was born due to her having eczema and being sensitive to some products. Huggies being one of the few she never had a reaction to until we went to pull ups. We now have packages we are not able to use as she developed a large rash on both legs where the pull ups sit. We typically use the huggies 'new leaf' pullups. I ordered these because they were a bit cheaper, and was quite disappointed. They seem ok as far as comfort and absorbency, but they come apart very easily, and many were already coming apart straight out of the package. I had to fix the velcro every time I went to put one on my kid, and then if she used the potty they were ripped off rather than pulled down. With the new leaf pullups she can get them up and down easily and wouldn't be able to pull them apart if she tried. ... show more

We are potty training my two year old. She struggled with these at first as they feel very much like a diaper. So while yes they absorb, it doesn’t help her feel wet.
