Short review: Overall, I really like this potty! I would recommend purchasing one for longer trips out (think, sight-seeing or camping). It's essential for public restroom toddler pooping! ...but most outings won't include poop and for pee, a reused, plastic jar with a twist top lid (preferably in a plastic bag too) is better in some ways. This potty is cute and not descriptive enough to recognized in it's purpose when you're carrying it around. It's light weight and sized well for toddlers. I don't like that it needs to be set down on public restroom floors (jar is better in this regard). It's not watertight, so be sure to fully wipe out any wetness within. ... show more

    • Makes traveling possible
This is my first review, ever. I need to share with other parents that if you are choosing to train your toddler on a “teeny potty”, this is a worthwhile investment. Recommended by a friend, very grateful. Being able to literally take it anywhere—from running errands to vacations, my toddler (2 yrs 3 months) was 2 weeks into potty training and had minimal accidents when traveling across states, car and plane. She insists on carrying her “travel potty” wherever we go, with pride (and I believe, with comfort). We have received many compliments on it (people think it’s her purse/suitcase). Incredibly helpful to have something she is familiar with in all the new environments when potty learning. Helped with camp/daycare transition success too. Can even use it in the car (although that’s a bit more tricky as an even ground makes it much more stable). It is now the number 1 thing we remember when leaving the house. I docked a star on “easy to clean” and “comfort” simply because the latch has become sometimes more difficult to open as time goes on. My daughter is 99% percentile for height and 40 something percentile for weight, tall and more slender. The potty size is smaller than what’s probably comfortable but no complaints ever and I wouldn’t want it any bigger. It’s lower to the ground which probably helps get her in better pooping position anyways. Emptying is a little awkward compared to traditional home teeny potties. That will not sway me one bit— this travel potty gave my daughter the confidence she needed to learn she can potty anywhere. If you are at the stage I am, that’s everything. I ordered this potty for my toddler to use while he’s away and I must say it’s extremely small and very difficult to open I will be returning this product it’s not worth the price or the struggle to get this thing opened

With a newly potty trained toddler, I’ve been anxious going anywhere new and having to ensure that she has somewhere to go potty. This potty works so well! We initially bought it for a road trip, but we’ve since used it at the beach, pool, playground and parade. Love the easy carry, grandson thinks it’s cool , he calls it his “pack pack potty” lol. He is very tall for a 3 year old and I had to set it up on something for him to use it comfortably. It is smaller than I expected but for younger children it probably would be fine. Well made.

I have a toddler who absolutely refuses public restrooms (cant say as I blame her,) but this kid will bust before she uses one. I bought two of the collapsible ones that fold into a slim carry case type and they are FASNTASTIC. This one is very cute, less fuss, but more bulky and has to be cleaned more frequently unless you're able to get a disposable liner to stay put. I gave this one to my MIL to keep with her in care they're out and about and nature calls. Easy to set up, easy to clean, toddler doesn't mind it and is absolutely happy with the design. 10/10 would buy again and recommend. ... show more

I really wanted the access this was going to provide for my toddler but unfortunately I should have read all the reviews. This is not meant for a toddler any bigger than 2.5yo. My almost 3yo, is 37 inches tall but tall and slim and he could not fit his behind comfortably on this to go potty. In fact I didn’t find this out till we brought it out with us in the car and he used it for the first time. Partially my mistake. But poor thing, couldn’t get comfortable and then he couldn’t hold it anymore so he sprayed everywhere on the potty and the back car seat while I’m frantically trying to rearrange him. The idea behind this is fantastic but I so wish it was made for “older toddlers” which it absolutely is not. ... show more
