So I decided to go for it. I’m not disappointed! It’s lightweight, portable, charges within a few hours, is easy to use, has versatility as it comes with cheap but decent enough quality bits, and has enough power to do basic stuff around the house. I ordered this drill as an inexpensive temporary solution to the issue of my old Durabilt drill's battery no longer holding a charge, so I could get a few simple installations done while deciding on a more powerful replacement. It's quite decent, though it's been a little lacking in power for some wood-drilling tasks - it holds a charge for a long time (I've used it for quite a few drilling and screwing jobs now, and haven't yet had to charge it a second time), and it's easy to use. I've really felt the lack of smaller drill bit sizes though, as the smallest one in the kit is 4mm and I've needed 3mm/0.25" or smaller a few times. I also want to note that the larger bit sizes are incorrectly listed - I received 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm (1cm), not the 4/5/6/7/8mm sizes shown here (see image). If you just need a basic little drill for drywall and not-too-dense wood, and don't want to pay too much, I would still recommend this for the ease of use and solid battery life. ... show more

Just received, initial thoughts seems a quality product, feels good in my hand, and enough power for me. We'll see how performs and lasts. Re: difficulty removing battery... I found if I turn upside down in my lap and push in and up w thumbs(arthritic at that) at same time, it works like a charm. Otherwise, it's almost impossible to release battery compartment for charging. May try a little WD-40😊 ... show more

This drill is lightweight, easy to handle, and has great features. It is variable speed with the trigger pull, which is very useful and unusual at this price range. Also, it has an LED light that shines on your work. One reviewer complained that he couldn't get the battery out. You simply pinch the catch and pull down. No problem but you have to pinch first. I keep this along side of my bigger, heavier duty drill, and use it for light work. I end up using it 90% of the time. I really like this one! ... show more
