  • This is No Joke!! Awesome!
This is like the tool you never knew you needed until you got one, and now I can't believe I ever lived without one of these things!! Are you going to build a whole house with it? No, but if you are building a house you won't believe how many things this thing comes in handy for. Any kind of cabinet work is a million times easier. Tight spots...no problem. Around corners...done! It comes with an angled head, a regular drill chuck and an impact head, a couple batteries and a charger. It has an adjustable friction clutch for all chucks, it's compact, but yet powerful, and variable speed trigger with a hi and low range. Get yourself a carabiner with some hex bit holders on it, a set of hex drills and some hex screw bits and throw them all in the handy case, and you're all set for just about anything. I never thought I'd give up using my regular cordless drills all the time, but now I find myself reaching for this 90% of the time. Again, this tool isn't for something like driving deck screws, but for small tight stuff it is indispensable. I also got a small set of hex sockets that I keep in the case on a carabiner, so now small "some assembly required" projects are a snap too. I can't even keep this thing in my shop because I keep bringing it back into the house; I just leave it inside now. It's really that useful. When I first got it I thought it might be kind of a gimmick, but I figured I'd give it a shot. Since then it's probably one of the best small power tool decisions I've ever made. I highly recommend. ... show more

  • A very handy drill driver.
Well made, versatile tool for all kinds of home projects. Powerful for its size with very good battery life.

  • Great little driver
I’m an iron worker, fabricator and I have the m18 tools, a lot of them. But I’ve been dabbling in some woodwork lately and wanted to put together a lightweight m12 kit. It saves a lot of space in for sure compared to a full sized m18 drill and 5ah batteries. I think I’ll find a lot of uses for this installation driver. Excellent for honey do type jobs, hanging stuff on walls, putting together miscellaneous whatnot. I can see it being handy while doing automotive work too. Haven’t ridden it really hard, but that’s not really what it’s made for. Plenty of torque though if needed and the clutch is easy to fine tune so you don’t strip screws out or over sink them. I typically throw the oversized hard boxes Milwaukee tools come in, but I like this bag the kit came with, when you pull the tool and charger out, it stores the heads and it’s perfect for a set of 1/4” drive bits, level, stud finder and some screws for those nick nack installation or removal jobs. The magnet on the front is nice too. ... show more

  • Another Milwaukee high quality driver kit
I used this driver on my latest project and was extremely impressed with the quality. The interchangeable heads (adapters: drill chuck, 1/4" driver, etc.) really made the project go smoothly. Others have commented about getting used to the different location of the reverse switch, and I did NOT find this to be a problem, within a minute, I was adjusted to this minor difference. You won't have trouble with it either! The torque was more than ample to handle my drilling and driving needs. This is my first driver running on 12v instead of 18v, and I was working overhead. The lightness of the 12v was much appreciated. ... show more

  • Compact Wonder Gets it All Done
This little drill/driver has been an absolute workhorse since our move. I used it to assemble everything from furniture to outdoor structures. The built-in light is so handy for tricky under-cabinet tasks. And I love the magnetic bit holder on the front for always having the bits I need close at hand. Despite its compact size, it packs serious power. It drove all types of fasteners with ease, from tiny screws to lags. ... show more

  • The perfect tool
I love this thing. I have an M18 Driver drill and M18 Surge impact wrench (both are great), but I end up using the 2505 for almost all my work around the house and on the job where I install home automation systems. It light weight with a decent amount of power. The ability to change the head is a great feature. The 2505 is not the tool I use when drilling through studs for wire runs and the like. I recommend this to any home owner looking for their first real driver drill. ... show more

  • A special specialty driver
This is really a well built drill with some distinct negatives. 1. Forward and reverse button is ridiculous 2. It doesn't stand up without an aftermarket foot That said, this is an amazing product for tight, technical work. I install cabinets and appliances and this is a perfect product to use. It is ergonomic, lightweight, and most importantly, not too powerful. The current impacts are just too strong for appliance installation and driving screws into wood that can cam out easily. All in all, a great product if they just changed that insane switch or at least added an led on the back to show the position so you can see if you need to change direction while in a tight spot and you can't see the direction insicator ... show more

  • Versatile
This is going to be my go to drill/driver. I own several M18 units and they work great but this unit is lighter and more versatile. The heads that come with it offer multiple ways of using it. The battery lasts a decent amount of time and I have had no issues with it at all.
