This product is awesome. It's rather pricey for some cheap plastic, but it works. I'd say there are other designs you can find that do the same thing as this product for much cheaper. I will say this product has helped loosen my hips tremendously and reduced my back pain. The psoas is a major contributor to hip flexion (bending forward). If this muscle gets tight, you'll typically experience lower back pain. This product has helped me in this area as I have always had really tight hip flexor, and since I've started using this product regularly. My hip and back pain is gone. ... show more

Ok so this thing is supposed to help you release your psoas muscles. I watched all the YouTube videos and tutorials on how to use it correctly. I just couldn't use it because of how extremely painful it was. This product was recommended to me by my massage therapist and by a gf who used and loved it. So I bought it. I wish I would have saved my money and just bought the aletha hip hook instead. I have that now and find it to be much easier to use and I can target the areas I need more precisely. ... show more

I was hesitant to pay for a piece of plastic that was $70 at first. So in lieu of that my attempts with plantar fasciitis balls and different dumbbell weights that had higher ridges, those eventually stopped working to relieve the tightness and the tension in the PSOAS. I have suffered from lower back pain for years. I adhere to a strict stretching and core strengthening routine. For the most part this routine has controlled my pain and has allowed me to function normally. However I recently suffered a severe lock up that devastated my ability to do any physical activity for two weeks. A friend, who also suffers back pain, mentioned the Psoas muscle and how treating that muscle helped him. He also mentioned this product but didn't purchase it because he felt it was too expensive. He showed me a video where a softball was used to put pressure of the Psoas. I tried the softball and it did improve my situation. In researching this product I read the many reviews that mentioned the high price for a plastic mold, but as with many back sufferers, no price is too much if the back pain goes away. After purchasing the product, i can see why so many questioned the price for a piece of plastic. However, it doesn't feel cheap. After using the product for two weeks, i certainly believe the product works. Folks, the key is to understand how important it is to release the Psoas muscle to relieve back pain. This product does that. Now, I think this product could be improved if it was adjustable. Is it worth $80? For me, yes.     • Complete game changer! Best thing I ever bought!

When I opened the package my first thought was "are you freaking kidding me! I just paid 70.00 for a piece of plastic!". The instructions consisted of a a piece of paper with photos of a man lying in different positions. I tried to use it on my psoas muscle and it was a complete failure. I was going to send it back. I then went on you tube and was able to get the basic idea from videos others posted. There is no right way or wrong way to use this tool. You just need to get down on the floor and see what works best. I found the spot on my psoas muscle on the right side and laid on my stomach on top of one side of the tool. It was painful at first because my muscle is so tight. But I was able to get deep into the muscle. After about 45 seconds I could feel the muscle start to release. I switched the tool to my left side. I repeated this process several times. I stood up and no more pain! I slept thru the nite for the first time in months! I have had double knee replacements and a left hip replacement. I was sure with the amount of pain I have been having that I would need a right hip replacement. I could barely walk because of the pain. Not one of the medical providers I see suggested I could have a tight psoas muscle. I stumbled on this while researching why my hip hurts all the time. My knees had started to hurt again too. I work at a desk all day so it made sense that it was tight muscles. I have been experimenting with my quads, calves and even my shoulder! This plastic tool is a life changing miracle is. I look like a contortionist while using it but there isn't a muscle I can't get to.
