I have 2 other portable power stations of similar size; a barebones, no frills power station from Rockpals and a Bluetti EB3A. Though in all fairness, the Bluetti has twice the power but also cost nearly 3 times as much as the Rockpals. This portable power station from PryMAX sets nicely between the 2, with the power and price of the Rockpals but many of the frills of the Bluetti. Unlike the Rockpals and similar to the Bluetti, it has a nice clean, clear screen that gives me all the information I want. Power in, power out, battery percentage. Theres no clutter so just a quick glance lets me know the information I want. It has all the plugs I could want; 2 USB plugs, a USB quick charge and a USB-C plug, along with 2 AC plugs (one 3 prong and one 2 prong), 3 12v DC plugs and a cigarette lighter plug. The area light on the back provides a decent amount of light without being blinding. This power station is also smaller and lighter than either the Rockpals or the Bluetti so it's easier to carry around. This isn't going to power your refrigerator during a power outage, nor is it meant to. But it will power some LED lights or run a fan or charge your phone, tablet or laptop. I can also use it to charge power tool batteries or a 12v car charger without having to run an extension cord. It'll power a radio while camping (my step dad loves listening to sw radio while camping and this works great for that.) The bottom line is its a great little power supply and for the price, you're just going to have a hard time finding anything better. A jackery with the same specs is also $100 more and the power stations that cost less have less power or less capacity. Its built sturdy, lightweight and works well. If this is an example of PryMAX products, I'd be interested in trying out the 1200 watt version, which also seems to be better priced than its competitors. great job PryMAX! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I most likely Received a used unit that is faulty. The unit came dead out of the box and even with a few hour charge the unit wouldn’t charge past 75%. It Looked as if the box was opened and I was sent a used unit. I thought that maybe if I depleted the battery (the 75% I initially charged) that the unit would “ reset “ and charge further after it rebooted or something . . To my unfortunate realization the unit would now only charge to no higher than 56% and would not charge even though being plugged into a reliable wall outlet.I searched high and low dutifully seeking answers on how to reset the unit but ultimately decided to cut my losses due to finding little to no information. I requested a replacement unit in the hopes that maybe I got a dud or by chance bad batch. But I’m doubtful that the replacement will fair any better. If not it’ll go back and I’ll Move on to something else. Being that this is an “ off brand “ or in other words: not with a reputable name company or manufacturer I had severe trouble finding information on use and or on especially needed troubleshooting information. All I found was the online manual which my was missing along with other AC car charger cables, and some paid YouTuber “reviews “ saying how amazing it is…. In which it is truly not . In hindsight I Should’ve just went with Goal zero or something else like Jackery level of quality. Hopefully the next unit is better. Hope this HONEST unpaid real world review helps you in your search for a power station! Hopefully it helps you avoid this one! Update: prymax made it right and sent me a new unit at no cost to me! I purchased this based on the prior reviews. Upon charging the first time, i could only get the battery to charge up to 75% after a full day of charge. Watt input at that point also showed 0. I contacted Prymax service since i just wanted it replaced and they stated just to contact amazon.

This power station has the 12v cigarette lighter/power port on the TOP of the unit instead of on the face/back/sides. And you wouldn't think that's important but it is. The chances of breaking the plug off in the unit goes down 90+% because of that design change. Makes the unit charging while driving so much safer and easier. It has tons of ports for charging cell phones, computers, iPads and laptops. It can also run up to 23" Flat Screen LCD TVs for a good 5 or 6 hours. 300W is a great size for traveling and we really like this one the best of all of our power stations. ... show more
