I am altering my review after Customer Service helped me fix it. They were very responsive and patient. For anyone with this same issue it helps to tap the nut at the end against something, that allowed me to finally get it unscrewed. It can really get stuck quickly and it can be confusing in that moment which way it needs to be turned so I drew an arrow above the nut for which way to loosen it. I then had issues with getting the smaller tools to attach to the want and they helped me trouble shoot that too. The indent ring closest to the brush part (for instance) is the one that is supposed to catch the metal nut ring on the inside of the end of the wand. We found that once the nut was completely tight I needed to lift the brush tool very slightly to get it to line up right for the metal ring to drop into it and then I could tighten it just a bit more so that it would stay in place. Easy once it was figured out. I'd recommend that Proteam adds a video showing this and for troubleshooting this because, while its ability to tighten during use is great!, it can be a real source of frustration and wasted time when one wants to swap tools:) Old Review: The Vacuum has excellent suction and I love the ability to wear it instead of dragging it behind me. However! the end of the wand that is supposed to fit the floor and carpet parts does NOT loosen as it is supposed to so I can't use it or the floor parts. I can only used the hand held attachments that attach to the flexible hose directly. The nut at the end of the wand literally does not move at all, it is completely locked into place. I'm pleased with the design and efficacy of this unit. However, it took me a while to realize a part was missing, turning out to be the reason the hose bumping the doorway caused the lid with hose attached to come off. The part I ordered, arriving Wednesday is supposed to alleviate the problem. This part wasn't listed on the package contents. I would think it fair for Amazon to credit me the cost of my order arriving Wednesday. Thank you. ... show more

It’s very annoying to use, especially when you’re trying to figure out how to get the pieces to stay put on the hose. It’s definitely not the simplest thing to use and if it’s just being used for house cleaning it can be so large on your back that you end up knocking things on the wall and the hose will leave black marks if you do rub it against the wall. That being said the aluminum post that everything hooks onto is very lightweight and it does make it a lot easier to vacuum large areas The metal hose falls out of the plastic hose all the time so I’m constantly having to grip them together while I work. My hand and forearm ache constantly from using those I’m always wishing I had bought a different vacuum. The filters on back fall out 1 or 2 times while vacuuming so I have to stop and take everything off to put them back in. Then I have to put it back on and secure the belts again. For a heavy thing to keep lugging around it is incredibly annoying ... show more
