Keep expectations low and you will be happy with this purchase and its performance. The sound quality from this microphone is clean and clear—perfect for simple applications. Journalists would love this for quick interviews and vloggers should also like it. It’s a straightforward solution to getting clean audio. My first negative discovery is not necessarily a big minus, but testing the range out involved leaving my iPhone 13 Pro recording in one room while I walked around. It did well until I went about 20 feet away and onto my patio. The microphone lost connection as soon as I got on the other side of the glass patio door. The connection was spotty. I didn’t have the same problem in other parts of the house. The other minus I found was that I was not able to use the included USB-C cord (or any others) to charge my iPhone because I was unable to plug it into the receiver port. The USB-C plug could not be inserted into the port. It may just be a manufacturing defect with this particular set, but if I were someone relying on heavy use of their phone, it may be an issue. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to set up and how well it worked. It sounded great. However, the wireless mic began to lose its connection about 25 feet from the receiver (as always, your mileage may vary). Of course, if you don't plan on being that far from the subject, it's not an issue. Also, the receiver doesn't fit if you're using a bulky iPhone case like an Otterbox. You should get this mic if you just want a cheap solution for a better mic on your iPhone. It records your voice much better than the built-in mic and it's affordable. Don't expect amazing results but it will record considerably better than the built-in mic with reduced noise.

Only issue is be careful because it is a clip it can easily be side swiped and fall. A little awkard with the iphone adapter but the good thing it has power plug. you can charge and use at the same time.
