Let me preface. I saw a big black spec in one of my molars and was afraid it was a cavity. Alternatively I thought it might have been a shard of pepper. I brushed my teeth multiple times and it wouldn't come off. As a last ditch effort I ordered this to see if I could pick it put as I had no tooth picks. Took off 1 star as it came 2 days after promised delivery date. After it did arrive it felt heavy but badly cut on the tips. I washed it in iso alcohol on both sides as I suspect it wasn't disinfected at the package place Used it after thoroughly cleaning it and sure enough after 2 tries a black piece of peppercorn came out. The product did its job. Will I ever use it again? Probably not but I'll have it if I do. For $5 it was worth a piece of mind for me. ... show more

I rarely write reviews, but I just received this and used it......... Huge chunk of tartar came off immediately,,, very heavy duty stainless steel, just like the hygeinist uses... I have a wire behind my lower teeth and it's hard to keep clean - this is a game changer for mouth hygeinie!
