Last month, we encountered an unexpected situation when a swarm of bees decided to make a temporary home in our backyard vegetable garden. As novice beekeepers, this presented both a challenge and an opportunity. To safely manage the situation, I purchased a beekeeper suit for my husband, who is quite a big guy at 6’1” and around 250 lbs. We have often struggled to find the right fit in the past, but this suit proved to be an exception. The suit arrived in perfect condition, and to our relief, it was a perfect fit for my husband. The quality exceeded our expectations. The fabric feels durable yet comfortable, offering ample protection without sacrificing mobility, which is crucial for beekeeping tasks. The veil provided clear visibility and the suit covered every inch, ensuring maximum protection from bee stings. What impressed us most was the attention to detail in its design. The zippers and elastic bands at the wrists and ankles were of high quality, which are often overlooked in other suits. We ordered two of these in different sizes, and they have both worked and fit well. The fabric, zippers, and netting are pretty substantial, and they have worked as advertised so far. Very good value if you are needing a full-body suit.

The suit seems to be pretty good quality and all. It was a bit too tight in the chest. Not really easy to get on and off.

This gives excellent coverage and protection. I did not get stung once even though I was surrounded by angry hornets. I’m 6’3” and 200 pounds and the XXXL worked well for me. The gloves were a little snug, especially once they got wet from me sweating but that is actually perfect because I could still use my fingers surprisingly well. ... show more

The bee suit fit perfectly and securely. It appears of great quality. However; I did not officially tested by any bee attacks but ShrinkI felt very confident it would protect my body and face.

Used it for the first time this evening. Learning how to take care of bees. Not going to lie I was nervous as I’ll get out. I put the bee suit on and went to the hive, with my boyfriend, and the bees were swarming around me and landing on me and I did not feel, any stinging, even when they stung the suit. Although I did have a sweatshirt on underneath the suit, lol. Never hurts to put protection lol. The suit is very easy to get on, zips up well, the gloves are a good thickness, so you do not feel any stinging. I am 5’4” and bought the large size, according to the size chart. It is very baggy and big on me, but I am OK with that. You do not want it to be skin tight or snug because the bees will be able to sting through it, hence why I put the sweatshirt underneath just in case. So far so good! ... show more

I'm 5.5ft. When it comes to clothing, I'm between medium and large. After reading the description and reviews (and yes, reading Amazon's notice of high return rate), I still ordered a large thinking it would fit. When it arrived, I tried it on. It seemed a bit tighter than I expected, but doable. Then I did the bend over test. The suit didn't split or anything, but it got uncomfortable quick. Large isn't going to work at all. Loose covering is important, especially over sensitive areas. As far as quality, I didn't see anything I thought was a deal breaker. The seams looked good. The hood looked adequate. The zipper on the left side of the hood didn't seem to want to close all the way but I didn't try to work it because this will be returned. I would use tape over the flap, ankles and wrists anyway. The elastic is snug, but not too tight. The gloves are a little thinner than I expected, but comfortable. I did not take it on a test run because it will be returned. Suggestion: even if you are medium-large like me, save yourself the time and get the extra large from the get-go. The large simply isn't large enough. Will update the review after I'm able to get a larger suit to test out. ... show more
