A great product at a reasonable price. Looks good, good materials. Easy to install. My only minor complaint is that the screws are on the left and right rather than the top and bottom. I was afraid that the solid frame in my panel door wouldn't be wide enough to accommodate the inner-most screw (it was)... but I guess the left/right orientation also provides a bit more structural integrity when pulled. My old handles were top/bottom... which, in a way, was a good thing as it forced me to drill new holes instead of reusing the existing ones. ... show more

I replaced a high-quality (and priced) privacy handle that had worn over many years and was no longer functioning or locking correctly. I chose this Chinese replacement based on price and the high traffic use and abuse the handle would get in a mudroom area. I was not going to spend 200 dollars on a beautifully polished, high-precision handle. And I am glad I didn't. This lever looks great, was easy to install, and the instructions were easy to understand. What I did notice after installation is that this lever has some play here and there- it is not manufactured to the same level of fit/ tolerances as a higher-quality alternative and does not operate quite as fluidly as a high-quality handle (but it functions just fine). Whether that extra play will lead to earlier failure remains to be seen. I also noticed a few small rough burrs on the edges of the small holes located on the bottom of the levers, which were noticeable to the touch. I filed these down easily with a fine metal/ diamond file. ... show more
