The package was torn and smashed in places ; the footrests were missing, and no instructions came with it. I believe this was the delivery company's fault, as they just shoved the package on to the porch and hurried off. I managed to find footrests on another chair we have, and so all is well. I needed a light chair since I'm the caregiver for my husband, and this is fine weight-wise. ... show more

This is by far the worse and weakest chair ive ever had here's why, as you seen on the first picture the metal bars that suppurt your back are torn and would soon brake off and if i would use this chair for a bit longer, i think I'd brake my back due to the whole back support completely falling off, second of all the chair says its limited to 300pounds well i weigh 165 pounds and used the chair for only about 3 weeks (not even 1 month) and it already fell apart, also the backrest material ripped, and last but not least they claim that the chair is lightweight this is not true, the chair is much heavier compared the the previous one i had so i highly do NOT recommend anyone buying this chair!!! ... show more

This is a really great wheelchair - it is pretty lightweight, easy to fold and lift into an SUV. It rolls around smoothly and is easy to use sitting at a work desk. We are so pleased with this wheel chair, made by the same manufacturer our rental one was, and it was so reasonably priced for us to buy, verses renting! I was not sure I would be able to assemble it, but it comes almost completely already assembled apart for a couple pieces that were easy to put on, and making your own adjustments so it works perfectly for you.     • Brake Problems

I received this chair just last week. Right away I noticed the brakes needed to be tightened. Tried to tighten them and they still don't hold the chair firmly in place when doing transfers. This is a BIG problem for me. Usually a chairs brakes wear out after years of use, not as soon as it gets taken out of the box. Granted this is the first wheelchair I have bought online and not from a store that fits the chair to the user, but it will be the last time I do this. A chair can feel sturdy but when a person uses the brakes and they don't hold the chair in place...then that means the chair doesn't work properly and you should look elsewhere. ... show more

Have had this wheelchair for 5 weeks now and the left wheel lock has already broken off. The screw bent then just broke into two pieces. I am not able to remove the broken piece it is lodged in and won't budge. So I can't even replace just the screw. I have tried reaching the company and have left messages, will have to wait to see how many more days it takes for then to return my call. I have tried locating a replacement left lock. In the meantime the wheelchair is useless as we can't lock it in place and that is not safe for my mother who lives in a memory care facility. ... show more
