ProBasics Quality has declined, brake bolt fell out in less than10 months

This is my Dad's second ProBasics wheelchair, we purchased a second to keep in the car. We purchased the first in 2019 and it is still going strong, the second has cheap vinyl and a bolt fell out of the wheel lock after 9 months which is really dangerous when he is transferring. I wouldn't purchase t

My mom needed this after a hospital stay. Very easy to maneuver, put legs on and take off, swing arms back and re-connect. Great price for this quality.

You get what you pay for.

We have purchased and used other wheelchairs in the past. While this is not a cheap wheelchair, it is an excellent value. Good quality construction. Frame is rigid so when pushing iver uneven pavement you don’t get the feeling the chair is goig to collapse or break. It rolls with far less resistance
than the loaner chair it replaced. If you can afford the extra money, it is definitely worth considering.

Shopping online is not always a good choice
The wheelchair is much larger than I thought and is very hard to maneuver. The legs and feet are long and just too much.
