I would recommend these brushes to anyone who needs to apply yucky coatings on a project. I bought these brushes for one time use - mostly for applying small amounts of epoxy resin coatings of wood projects. And for the price ? A great bargain ! I won't be using them too often, maybe once a month so the $damage is tolerable. Do be aware these are not high or even low end paint brushes - just for quick-and-dirty use. The all-natural china bristles are not going to wilt in whatever you plan to use them for ... epoxy, water, acetone, alcohol ... like nylon or polyester bristles often do. Same for the handle 'cause it's unpainted wood. I have been known to trim the bristles down without any hesitation. Pros: Inexpensive, practical, throw away-able, tolerant to many things so won't sag. Cons: Won't leave a top shelf finish without a lot of post-process or secondary steps. ... show more

Noticed bristles coming apart when painting. I know these are disposable brushes, however should be made better to prevent bristles from falling off when painting.

These are OK for spreading stain on small projects. I do not plan to clean them and reuse them. I will use them once and toss them in the trash bin.
