I bought this before COVID and then had to move during the pandemic. Put them away because it seem like a waste to toss in the trash after less than a 1 yr of use. Needless to say they’re still holding up and work just fine.

My phone actually tried to fix this pic and unpixelize thinking my camera lens was dirty, and I think it may have succeeded somewhat. I used this product on my camper's slider doors to help keep it cooler in the summer as well a obscure the view both in as well as out (my younger pup likes to guard and bark). It's definitely helping with the temperature, so I love that and am already thinking of other windows I could add window vinyl to. As for the pups, it also seems to be doing the job. I'm just worried if the pup jumps onto it that it'll tear off, but that's on me to keep it from happening and not on the product's quality ... show more

Using this to cover the small window above our walk in shower. Still lets light in, but cannot see through it. Easily cut to size and placed on the window. Has stayed in place without any issues. Very pretty when the sun shines directly on it (shows the colors of the rainbow).

First off, for what my situation is and what my needs were, this works good/completely fine. But some people may be unhappy with this product if they are looking for a decent to heavy amount of privacy, especially if they’re on the first floor or, say, they are in a bathroom or dress/undress situation of the window in question. I attached photos here - One is from the inside looking out - and you can see from the inside that it really blurs very well when I look out the window. The other photo is looking from the outside-in, with my distant bedroom corner light backlighting the window. Still blurry/privacy, but you can definitely make out the details of me having two plants in the window very obviously. The last pic is of my husband standing about 2 feet from the same window, and I’m looking up at him from ground level. This time he has the light on in that bathroom, looking down at me. Not very private. I could make out the color of his shirt, that he’s holding his phone and that he has on glasses. Again, since we have the plants blocking some of the window already, because we’re on the second floor and because we don’t do most of our standing very close to the window, this particular product works well. But for others, it may not be enough. As far as application/instillation goes, it was very very easy and I did it without anyone assisting. HOPE THIS HELPS. This is not your typical adhesive that you find in Lowes or Home Depot. Those products require that buy a special spatula and liquid to apply the product. I have tried those and was never able to smoothly apply to my windows. As a result I have had these temporary paper blinds that I cut down to cover the 12x60 inch clear side windows on both sides of my front door. So tacky looking. I thought the only option was hiring a handyman to install the Home Depot or Lowe’s window adhesive. One day I came upon this product and It’s a GAME CHANGER. It has grids to make even cutting possible No handyman needed my friend. ALL YOU NEED IS… 1. You 2. 15-20 min. 3. Windex 4. Paper towel 5. Eyebrow razor from beauty store 6. Sharp scissors 7. Measuring tape. Step 1: Clesn window windex snd paper towel Step 2: measure the inside of window width snd height. 3. Measure product. Add at least 1-2 inches more on top or bottom. You’ll thank me for this. 4. Cut 5. Peel town just and inch or two snd adhere to window starting at top. Use your psalms to smooth across as you work down. 6. Once product is all on window smooth and then use fingernails around crevices. 7. Use eyebrow razor to carefully trim edges snd then peels those off slowly. ... show more

I'm clumsy w/ this sort of thing & it was semi easy for me by myself. But if someone can help you, even better. The adhesive on my clean windows is about 96%, but not unmanageable. I decided to cut it into squares to make it even easier. You could cut this up into different designs & place them all over - just as a distraction to people outside if you don't want to cover up an entire window pane. I didn't cover the very top of my patio doors because I did want some light to be completely unfiltered and it's not a privacy issue for me at that height. I absolutely love this stuff and wish that it had been accessible to me aroun every place I've ever lived. I may buy a different design & move current one to different windows. ... show more
