I’ve been looking for curtains for our front window to decorate and also block some light at night from the street light. These do the job nicely. They are unlined and not truly “light blocking” but I would say they are light filtering. We definitely have less light getting through. It shades sunlight in the daytime and minimizes street light at night. The orange color is vibrant and really adds a nice splash of color to our wall. The curtains feel like a soft linen and they look well made. No loose strings or snags. I wasn’t crazy about the grommet tops but they do glide pretty smoothly and not too noisy either. I’m sure they will eventually scratch the rod but that will be a long time from now. Our rod is an extended rod so it has a little bump where the extender meet and sometimes the grommets get stuck but you just have to get some momentum when you pull them closer. No big deal. That’s a rod issue anyway not the curtains. You can see from my photos the difference in sunlight during the day when they’re open vs closed. ... show more

These curtains have FAR exceeded my expectations. I am always a little hesitant buying something like curtains online in fear they’ll look cheap- but these most certainly do not! I took the pictures at night, so they may look a little dull, but they are not! The fabric is gorgeous. It’s a thick linen, with a silkier fabric lining. The navy color is really nice. The linen has some texture so they aren’t super plain or boring. They are thick too! They look way more expensive then they were! I was looking for something simple for our 9 year old boys room because his Marvel comforter is pretty busy- but I didn’t want just one plain color. So these looked perfect and once I hung them, I loved them even more!! Great quality, great color, great product! If you are on the edge, do it! They did come wrinkled from the package, and although I only did a quick iron so I could get them hung right away, the wrinkles came out no problem! (I could definitely take the time to iron out a few more wrinkles I noticed in the pictures but overall, they ironed out really well!) I highly recommend these. It wasn't exactly what we we're expecting. We thought the panels would be separate colors...1 orange & 1 black, each panel was orange and black, but turns out, the wife liked it better.

First let me say I am VERY impressed in the quality, color and craftsmanship. For this price I expected the worst. Knowing I would need to order 2 sets to fill my large window. As soon and I hung them I ordered the second set. The large garments accommodate most rods. The tweed fabric has a slight sheen and looks to be easy to clean. They are not lined so you do see the back side of the fabric through the window from the outside. They are not 100% light blocking but I didn’t need complete blocking. Filters the light well. They have no odor and came in a zippered plastic bag. Can’t wait to get my 2nd set to complete my window project. I chose the Orange with Gray color and 84” length. The orange is not day glow but more of a fall color orange. It’s perfect! ... show more
