  • Fun family time
From ages 10 to 79 everyone played and had fun at our family Father's day get together. We didn't use the buzzer because it was a little confusing. We just timed ourselves. Questions seemed pretty simple but it was still a hoot for everyone. Even the shy ones participated.

  • Educational Game for kids
Well made, the buzzer is annoying, so we use a egg timer. But its fun for kids.

  • Reminescent of Scattergories, but not as good. Missing timer and pencil.
Love the game but as others mentioned, I wish it had more cards; 100 just isn't to play a game like this for very long before you just run out of words. Also, the instruction sheet that comes in the box says that there should be a pencil and a timer inside. They were not. I have plenty of pencils and timers galore, but it's the principle of the thing. If it says such and such should be in the box, then it should be. I'm going to try and see if there are extra packs of words you can buy to supplement this game. Otherwise, it's playable only a few times with a group of people. Thus, I like Scattergories better as we've been playing that for years. Also, the score pad is so tiny that most of us elderly people can't even read it. ... show more

  • Taboo for kids
Got this game for grandkids to be able to play while adults play Taboo. The words are easier and more understandable for them and adults can also enjoy them.

  • GREAT family night game
Was concerned the 5 year old couldn't do it due to the fact she can't read, but it just meant one team had a permanent guesser and one a permanent reader. The 5 year old was certainly able to answer the questions, was great for vocabulary development. The 11 year old at first struggled to find the right way to frame clue questions but as the game went on you could see her start to think far more creatively and with more fun tips. She also learned some new words and new ways to think. Very beneficial for both children. It was fun enough and challenging enough for the adults to also enjoy it, and the kids really had fun. Well worth the price ... show more

  • Good game, but the timer is hard to operate and goes out of control easily.
The game fulfils the purpose of language development and use to explain or define concepts or objects. However, the timer is a pain as it goes out of control easily.

  • Great game, but geared towards kids
I love playing Taboo. I think this game is just like it except geared towards children. We had a blast playing this for the first time with a group of adults. The problem was the cards were easy to guess and we plowed through all of them pretty quickly. The replay value would fall short at this age group. That being said, some good card stock and creative players could create their own expansion pack. Probably better for the 6-12 age group, though. ... show more
