I ate them as a meal a couple of times and then packaged them for the freezer in three meal size containers. I love the versatility and it is just the right size for limited counter space, and if only a few people will be eating from it. I would say in general it would make three generous servings if you were eating nothing else, and more if you have a side dish, or bread (like with chili). I cook for one and so try to keep it small even with freezing as I don't want to eat the same thing so often I get sick of it. Turning the cover to get it to pressurize was very hard! My husband finally got it. I guess it has to be perfectly aligned and perfect pressure pushing it down to get it to work. But it worked great once the cover was on right.
